He had a bad game. So did our coaching staff, and rushing defense. It happens.
I felt this team was going to go 2-4, but tear it up in the last ten games. |

Next week is winnable. This would have been a pretty big upset in my opinion. NE is pretty damn good. |

we are kings of garbage time.
face it, we're not an elite team, no matter who says we are. we got down BIG against 3 playoff teams and were only able to muster an offense once those teams felt secure with their lead. i'm not saying that Manning and Orton are the same. i'm just saying that we've all seen this sh*t before. our D is not any good at stopping good running games. and against good defenses, our running game sucks. the furious comebacks that fall short at the end are fine if you're looking for moral victories, but we're now 0-3 in that scenario. it doesn't get you into the playoffs. but McGahee needs to hold onto that ball, and DT needs to hold onto the ball on the first drive. you can't have mistakes like that and expect to win against the Belicheat's of the world. |

When your opponent's QB is Peyton Manning, your defense can't afford to lighten up even when you've got a 20 point lead...he's capable of hanging a couple of TD's on you in mere minutes....
so all this garbage time talk is pure garbage. |

I missed the first 10 minutes, how did the first turnover happen? I noticed we had over 100 yards in the first 10 minutes but no score. wtf happened?

The whole team made mistakes today, Miller excluded. Tackling was horrible and with DT and WM fuggups you just cant do that and Win against a Patriot team thats hitting on all cylinders. I thought the team fought back in the 2nd half to make it respectable at least. It does count as a L, so the they need to clean up their dang mistakes, coaching staff included. A few boneheaded play calls to boot. Go Saints !

DT is so overrated. He doesn't get what the games about. Hint--it's not about him.

Down by 10 with the ball midfield with 7-8 minutes to go is not garbage time. He flat out dropped a 1st down. Then fumbled a possession that would've made it one score with 3 plus minutes to go. Inexcusable. He is showing signs of old age and tear. He takes himself out of multiple drives a game. Always waving to the sideline. Time for him to retire after this year.

DT with a long catch and run allowed the defender and only tackler near him to punch the ball out while running downfield. we would have scored a TD on that drive almost certainly if he had held onto the ball. 3 straight games he's let that happen according the the announcing crew.

Hate to call out Mcgahee and he's not the sole reason for the loss, but he ended two drives in plus territory today.
Do better Willis, horrible performance today. Thomas also on the **** list with that fumble, could have totally set a different tone for the game if he holds onto that ball. So irritating to see the potential this team has, and yet they don't seem to wake up against the good teams until they are 20+ pts down. While the final score is close to what I thought it would be, it's still frustrating to see the undisciplined and sloppy play by them. As a final aside, how blatant does an opposing team have to hold the Broncos before the refs will throw a flag? |

C'mon, really? He, individually blew this game? That's being awfully kind to the rest of the guys who stunk it up out there today. His mistakes were glaring. But, you don't get down 31-7 without plenty of guys ****ing up. |

When youre down 45-3 with 7 minutes left, thats not garbage time. Against ATL: If we get off the field on third down, we're in a position to drive down the field and win the game. Same exact situation with Houston. And in this game? If Willis doesnt fumble, we're in position to be down three with 3 minutes left and a couple of time outs. Essentially setting us up for the same exact situation. So we had a CHANCE to win all three. How is that "garbage time?" Writing all these "garbage time" posts is "moron time." |

pure ignorance, we arent even in position for mcgahee to fumble the game away without demaryius. He is our most dynamic player.
