Default Wed. night it's all over..............

Facts are on our side. The "facts don't run our campaign" bunch
will run right smack into the facts come Wed. night.

Just like Bubba brought the pain at the convention expect more of the same come Wed. night.....

Republicans inability to admit to their own mistakes and wanting to take us right back into the eye of the chit storm that created their mess will be on full view for all "undecided voters" to see.

Policies that created the mess we are in and help the rich exclusively
will be front and center. Prez Obama will point out to the "where is the jobs bunch" that the jobs are sitting in the house where everything has been blocked. He will point out the over abundance of votes against the working middle class and the extreme usage of the philibuster (f or ph ?) as well. He will point out that after EVERY RECESSION every prez has done a stimilus, every single damn time, this time was the worst recession since the big depression and its obvious not enough stimulus was put in place.

He will point that 4-5 days into his presidency he was told he would run a 1 trillion dollar deficit that year before he ever changed a thing.......in other words you guessed it....republican policies were still creating a deficit well into Prez Obama first term. Course those of us with a brain knew that.

You retard republicans think that education, infrastructure, social security and medicare should all be cut because we pissed away all our money on tax breaks for rich people and two stupid wars.

Republicans have wanted to get rid of any programs not benefiting the rich and think that this situation we are in makes a great excuse to do so.

No way, we see what you are doing and we gotcha.

It all ends on Wednesday night, watch Romney fall in the polls as the facts are spelled out just like Bubba did at the convention.
The people have figured you guys out and your done !

Facts will run your campaign into the ground !

It's a very simple equation. The greedy bastards at the top don't want to pay for programs that don't benefit them personally, like schools their kids won't go to, health care programs they won't use, or retirement benefits they don't need, even if those programs do benefit the country as a whole. Ergo, they hide their money offshore. They've selected one of their own, a fellow Cayman Islands traveler, to be their president.

We need to go over the fundamentals again. Like citizenship, for example. For those who haven't seen this quote by Oliver Wendall Holmes, one of the great Supreme Court justices in our history (appointed by TR), it points out the difference in the greed-based attitude and the good patriot attitude, "I like to pay taxes. With them, I buy civilization."

That's it in a nutshell. The greedy bastards need to stop whining about what we can do for them and start asking what they can do for their country.

Oliver Wendall Holmes made that quote prior to the income tax.

I'm beginning to lose count of the amount of times someone here has said "It's all over for Mitt."

I think this is 6 or 7.

Mr. Romney’s team has concluded that debates are about creating moments and has equipped him with a series of zingers that he has memorized and has been practicing on aides since August. His strategy includes luring the president into appearing smug or evasive about his responsibility for the economy.

Commenting on the above...
Quote:
The idea that this election can be reshaped by a zinger speaks to a deeper problem in the Romney campaign’s fundamental view of the race. As they see it, Obama’s record is an obvious disaster and their job entails little more than pointing that out over and over again. That the polls haven’t seemed responsive to this theory hasn’t dissuaded them. The new explanation for Romney’s difficulties is that the media are in the tank for Obama and that’s why the Romney campaign’s message isn’t breaking through.

But during the debates, voters will see the two men on a stage together, with no media filter, and that could change everything. After the first debate, says Romney surrogate Gov. Chris Christie (R-N.J.), “this whole race is going to be turned upside down.” That’s the kind of thinking that leads you to pepper your debate prep with zingers. But it’s also the kind of thinking that’s losing this race for Romney.

Well, it's not completely over, but Mitt the Maladroit Twit is clearly staggering. Lying Ryan continues to lose friends and influential people moment by moment.

However, in the interest of being "fair and balanced" I do admit there are two difficult issues for the President.

One is that the Drone attacks do cause civilian damage and loss of lives. What are the conditions underwhich the Drone attacks should be curtailed?

Why should the US continue to be in force in Afganistan, and what is the benefit of the agreement signed with Mr. Karzai?

The way I see it, a combination of supply side economics and deregulation have led to one of the worst financial disasters in this country's history. Mitt's solution is more supply side economics and more deregulation.

BTW, Nate Silver has the predicted EC at 321 for Obama and 217 for Mitt the Twit.

Obama is listed at 85% probability to win to 15% for Mitt the Twit.

Damm, that is a close race!

The zinger strategy is definitely something that can work in theory...a couple of hayseeds like Reagan and Bush were able to make great use of the tactic. The problem for Romney is he doesn't have the folksy charm of a Reagan or Bush to pull it off. It's as much about the delivery as it is the words, and (as we've all seen) that is one of Romney's weak points.

Here's where I would attack Obama:

1. A massive ponzi scheme has wrecked our economy. What are the results of your investigation into the causes? Who is responsible? Who has your justice department indicted? The derivatives market is still going strong. Our capital system is still being run like a casino. Why haven't you done anything about it?

2. What will take place in Afghanistan between now and the Summer of 1914 that makes staying there two more years worth it, while we watch more of our troops killed every day? If there will be no difference, why don't we get out now? Who should be the last to die in this pointless war? Why should we continue to spend billions on nation building in Afghanistan, when we know from history that it will fail?

3. As a Senator, and when campaigning for your first term, you spoke up against the Patriot Act and said you would work to reform it and add numerous oversights. Instead, you simply signed off on its re-authorization stating the we should trust the Justice Department to implement some oversight.

2a. How do you plan on generating the 1.21 Gigawatts needed to travel back in time? Have you smuggled in plutonium from the Libyans, or do you have prior knowledge of a lightning strike?
Sorry. I've been drinking since 6pm last night.

We've known for over a year that a generic republican can beat Obama, but Mitt can't. So the GOP nominates Mitt anyway because nobody else is electable that meets the GOP's agenda. At least we were entertained by the "Anybody but Mitt flavor of the month show" leading up to the nomination.

Remember: The right-wing media and the mouth breathers who intend to vote Romney/Ryan were all convinced that Dumbya won all three debates with Kerry in '04.

These goobers see what they want to see, and nothing will change their minds.

Fortunately for those Americans whose IQs are greater than their hat sizes, this Teabilly demographic is shrinking everyday.

Even Karl "Turd Blossom" Rove acknowledged "we don't have enough angry, uneducated white men," or words to that effect.

Gotta give Romney credit where due:

He peddles his lies and bullsh*t with a lot of conviction and panache.

The repigs are counting on Joe and Jane Six Pack (who are too busy to follow politics) to be taken in by a "style over substance" performance.

Meanwhile, the fact checkers will have a field day with Romney after tonight.

I would guess Obama understood this, and wisely gave Thurston some extra rope...

Obama was owned this evening. Finally seeing Mitt without spin and speaking the truth was very refreshing. Gentlemen tonight you saw why Mitt was a success in the business world and the difference a leader represents. Put him in office and lets get this thing turned around once and for all, I think we're all tired of the crap we've had to put up with for the last 4 years, end it now.
