David Bruton, I have been hard on him on the past but today he really did well, a blocked punt, another one that was really close, forced an incompletion on 3rd and long that would have been a 1st down and had a good tackle to prevent a 1st down.
Ronnie Hillman, was this his coming out game? he had some solid plays, displayed good vision to get extra yards and good quickness. |

Moore is really starting to grow up. he has some serious WTF moments but i can deal with growing pains from a young player. it's clear he's making strides(albeit not as fast as initially expected). if Carter can come back strong from his injury we'll have a nice pair of safeties next year and in the future.

This was the best the Bronco defense has looked in awhile. From the beginning of the game until the end. No cheap scores and very little big plays given up. This is the kind of defense I could live with

Read first page and no one mentioned Elvis?
Slump-breaker with 1.5 sacks. Also props to Von. Several run game stuffs tonight. Played a really solid game from my POV (think he blew a coverage though) |

I honestly don't want DJ replacing Woodyard at this point.
If DJ wants to play, I'd put him at Mike or just cut his ass. |

Its awesome playing with the lead. Able to focus more on getting after the QB a little more when you have a multiple score lead.

I have to give DT props. The kid is such a freak....he messed up...after a 40 yard freak play...and he was down......................but, he came back and made some key catches.
With DT, Decker, Stokely, Tamme, Driesen, Magahee, Hillman....Manning is o.k.! |

Good call, I think he did blow one. Von is improving against the run.

Had to be tough for him seeing Hillman take that 5 yard checkdown pass over the middle for another 10-12 yards with a great burst of speed......this game probably was the death knell for him, here, now that the kid is showing serious flashes.

Won't name the obvious ones... but Woody is really starting to hit a stride there! Seems like he is always around the ball, or at least making a big play. GO BRONCOS!!!
Do we finally have the team to take TBrady and his boyz down like in the good all Shanny days?! Can't wait for next week!!! |

Major props to Rahim for stopping that would be TD with a PHENOMENAL open field tackle . Also, really happy with Wolfe, i thought he had a sack, but it didnt show up on his stats. I remember seeing him on some pressures. SO happy with everyones play today, this one felt really good! **** THE RAIDERS!!!!!!! GO BRONCOS!!!!!!

He's a safe bet back there. As long as he's not muffing punts I can be ok him being back there. Obviously we don't have anyone else to put back there the coaching staff doesn't want getting hurt.

Ronnie Hillman flashed today I really am hoping to see him in the #2 role going forward hes the future hes got that something special. My boy Optimus Prime had a solid game good bounce back yeah he a bad fumble trying to switch hands (ironic he fumbles trying to do something to improve his ball security) but I thought he came back after that and became a beast for the rest of the game.
All the pass catchers had a great day catching the football for the most part. Can't forget the D great job today I think we can beat the Patriots if we can rush the passer like we did today, every time they panned to Carson he was getting hit I loved it. Just finished rewatching, few thoughts.
Awesome open field tackle by Moore right at the end of the half, receiver makes a great catch and then puts a move on Rahim as he's coming over. Most of our safeties over the last few years don't make that tackle, long way to go for the kid but I do think he's improving. Great to see Trevathan playing so many snaps in the nickel. We blitzed him a lot and he got a couple of nice pressures, hopefully he'll keep getting snaps in the nickel as he's got a lot of potential and Mays and Brooking just aren't up to the task in pass coverage. DT's keep doing a very nice job against the run. That's three of four games in which we've shut down the run game and nobody stops the Texans running the ball so that was nothing to be ashamed of. I think that this is probably a lot to do with Del Rio, his defenses in Jacksonville usually stopped the run and to be doing so well with what is frankly very mediocre talent at DT is impressive. Von Doom!! This is what we wanted to see. Catch the ball Adams!! Grrr. McGahee had two absolutely incredible runs on third and short. One on the first drive of the game and one midway through the third quarter. Both plays were absolutely blown up in the backfield but both times McGahee managed to make a cutback, find a new hole and plough ahead for a first down. Tremendous. Couple of lovely longer runs too, he's not an explosive back who'll take over games but he leaves very few yards out on the field. He's a perfect back for this offense, wish he was a few years younger. Good to see Hillman get some action, nice burst of speed on that long reception. He has a chance to be a feature back one day when he fills out a bit, he runs hard and isn't afraid of contact. I'd like to see him try and add a bit of bulk in his thighs, hopefully he can take gradually take over from McGahee over the next couple of years. Beadles is immense in the screen game, magnificent block by him on the screen that DT ended up fumbling and there was another one I noticed in the second half where Beadles got out on his man but Thomas didn't manage to break it. Speaking of DT... damn. He's a monster in the open field. Pretty elusive for a big guy, not afraid of contact and he can really motor once he turns the jets on. Could be the big play guy this offense has needed for a while now. Great game from Decker too. Speaking of screens to DT, watch that one in the second half that he took across the field for about 20 yards again. Focus on Ramirez and Franklin. They let their men go and burst out to throw some blocks only for Ramirez to accidentally take Franklin out and they collapse in a heap on the ground! Miracle that DT took it for such a good gain. Nice to see the TE's more involved, outstanding catch by Dreesen and some great third down grabs by Tamme. Oh and yeah, Manning looked pretty decent. ![]() |

This is the complete game our team has played since long long time..
By the time 4th quarter has started, the game is pretty much over. |
