Our best offensive player and our best defensive player are in their twilight.

It concerns me too, but hopefully the younger guys continue to develop and we can be consistently great for quite sometime.

I seem to remember a guy named elway winning a couple Bowls in his late 30's. Michael Strahan, Reggie White both led a defense in their late 30's.. Is there a secret board around here where all the informed broncos fan go that i havent heard of? Some of you man..

And one more thing... Our best defensive player is 23

He's a Patriots fan. Of course he hates Manning. He admits it. They were the only real rival the Patriots had during the only decade the Patriots have ever had relevancy in the league.

Of course he's going to take pot shots at his arm. But Peyton Manning is the least of this team's troubles.

Just hope the Bills beat them and the Broncos win this week. He be writing how terrified he is about Peyton sending them to 1-4 purgatory.

The great thing about Bill Simmons is that you can read the articles in Bill Simmon's voice, making it easy to dismiss his take altogether--his shtick is as obvious as a kid brother's bookworm pretension. The guy suffers from narcissism, only other narcissists take him seriously.

Idk this guy is a writer for espn and that column gets a lot of reads. I've also read the same from other places. Itll be nice to look back after 18 gets things going.

I think Von is a SHOE in to take the title as Champ continues to age and Von continues to develop, but for now he still has areas of his game he needs significant work in.

Can you say that about Champ? Hell, Champ's even a better tackler still.

Agreed here. Champ is still the man, but Von will easily take the reigns in another year or two. If nothing else, he is the #2 guy as it stands now.
