More missed FG goodness.
Nice job giving NC State an easy path to a win. Much props, team.

Why the hell would you go out of bounds there? Giving NC State all of the opportunities in the world.

He's never made a 50 yarder...but ofcourse he makes the 51 yarder.
Ofcourse he makes it. 37 all. Now I'm sure we'll go 3 and out or turn it over and lose even though we've won this game 5 times already.

I love how we have a 10 point lead with 7 minutes to go after leaving 20 points on the field and I'm reduced to hoping for overtime.
Yes, this game has been totally fair.

What is that accomplishing?
What the **** is that accomplishing, Fisch? You have it on their 40 after a pick with 45 seconds. WHY THE **** ARE YOU RUNNING? WHAT THE **** DOES THAT ACCOMPLISH? WHAT THE **** DOES THAT ACCOMPLISH?

70-63 final in the shootout, lol.
I wonder what West Virginia will do against an actual competent defense. Face Texas next week, then later on will go up against KState and Oklahoma. |

You know, any other day thats a hell of a day.
But that wasn't even as good as either QB in the WVU/BU game. Geno Smith: 45-51 (88%), 8 touchdowns, no interceptions, 656 yards passing, 28 yards rushing Nick Florence: 30-48 (62.5%), five touchdowns, one interception, 582 yards passing WVU: 808 yards of offense Baylor: 698 yards of offense WR Bailey (WVU): 13 catches, 303 yards, five touchdowns WR Austin (WVU): 14 catches, 215 yards, two touchdowns WR Woods (WVU): 13 catches, 114 yards, one touchdown WR Williams (BU): 17 catches, 314 yards, two touchdowns WR Reese (BU): 4 catches, 120 yards, one touchdown WR Sampson (BU): 4 catches, 109 yards, one touchdown |

That should be an interesting game. I'm sure our defense will cure all their offensive woes. We're growing as a team as the season progresses, whcih is a good thing and you can see it especially on offense, but the defense has major, major problems. I think beating ND in Chicago, even with all their flaws, will be a difficult task. It's a very steep hill to climb for this team. We'll score some points, but I think ND will win the game...prolly by somewhere around 13 points.

Geno Smith has to be the favorite for the Heisman Trophy at this point in the season.

Penn State has won their last 3 games to go to 3-2 on the season.
They beat a ****ty Illinois team 35-7 on the road today. Tim Beckman was dumb to leave Toledo for the Illinois job. Sure it's a lot more money, but that is pretty much a no win situation....Beckman will probably be 3 and out there. If he would have stayed at Toledo for a few more years, he could have positioned himself for a better job than the Illinois job. |

I feel bad for Andrew Maxwell in this game. He's improved his play, his receivers have not.

Clemson's defense is embarrassingly bad. Down 21-17 to Boston College.
BTW, congrats on the win last week, Requiem. Manuel has taken a big step up this year. |

After years of mediocrity, things finally seem like they are on the right track. I am hopeful this team can do it, but there is a lot of season left. Anything can happen. |

I think they're going to go 13-0 in reg season and ACCCG and end up in the title game against the SEC Champion. Defense had some issues last week against Boyd and Co. but I think there's so much talent there that after awhile (and we saw this in the Clemson game), it will just overwhelm the opponent. I think FSU will stomp Miami in a few weeks (although Miami is looking pretty good on offense this year, Defense is still trash) and while going to Blacksburg is always tough, VT does not appear to be quite as strong as usual this season.
