Default Bacon at any cost

Bacon at any cost
Posted on September 27, 2012 by Cowboy Byte

It’s bad enough that global warming prophecies predict seas around the world will rise, a million species will become extinct, and hurricanes and cyclones will level the landscape, but now dire forecasts say a world shortage of bacon is looming.

The theory goes like this: Climate change has created a drought, the drought drives up the cost of feed, pig farmers can’t afford feed, pig farmers can’t afford pigs, the crunchy goodness of a BLT goes silent.

This. Must. Stop.

this is serious as a heart attack..

I used to be of this mindset. Then I had the best bacon on the face of the earth. Now I get pissed when the wife brings home anything else. I might have a bacon problem.

I enjoy all bacon, including the turkey variety. Be careful, though. Some of the Turkey stuff can have more salt or even fat than the real variety.

There is no such thing as "turkey bacon."

The death penalty should be given for putting that on a label.

I love bacon.

Have you tried the maple variety? Because if you haven't yet, stay away. Its kind of like bacon heroin.

I just put in an order for the wife to pick up some Wright Brand Maple Bacon. Thanks to modern computers, I didn't have to get out of this chair right here.

I will have it, oh yes, I will have it.

I have brother that is a rancher..

Each year he trades a young bull to the kid down the road for a hog.. Not sure of the trade value or if it is twofers..

after the county fair they take them to the butcher in town..and they both have enough pork or beef for almost a year..

I do know that is the best bacon I have ever have damned near a 1/4" thick and almost no fat..

it is not something you can get in a store.. No hormones in either just farm/ranch raised all American meat..

and for those that care he takes Lipitor as the cholesterol is hereditary..
