Hey, I'm visiting Denver for the first time to see the Texans v Broncos match.

I'm looking for suggestions on where to tailgate and have a few drinks before the game? We'll be coming from downtown.

Is the best place the stadium parking lot or are there better private places to tailgate? Thanks

The Tailgate forum is unfortunately where threads die very quickly.

As so tailgating, I found the Stadium just fine, 1000s of fans and people were very welcoming. If you're bringing a vehicle, I can't help you as I've only been there via public transit. Couldn't tell you about any private places, but there is a bar in Hotel VQ right across from Sports Authority

Tailgate forum is about dead.... I think too much crap happened in the last couple of years and so a lot of the people that have tailgates have just stopped talking about them.

There are a number of cash lots... I'm in Lot M and it opens at 8 and will sell out by around 9:30 or 10. It's $30.

There is always the new experience inside the stadium that has food and beverages that opens at 10 or 1030 I believe.
