Romney Gets a Pass on "Better off Mexican" Comment

What's really amazing in all this is that Romney's 47% comment is so spectacularly terrible that he's basically gotten a pass on the fact that he said he would be better off if his grandparents were Mexican. A complete conservative dream-world "whites are the true minority" comment.

Let's just think about this for a minute. If he was Mexican, would Mitt's dad ever have become governor, or a top executive? Of course not. Not at that time.

But poor Mitt, if only he didn't have to overcome his white-ness, we would have already made him president for life by now.

... Two points about this.

1) It's a true statement based on that liberals give any minority a slide by default and single out whites for bashing, and

2) Whites are less than 10% of the global population, so yes, not that it has anything to do with this subject.

What percentage of the planet is mexican? The whole world doesn't vote for president anyway, I can't believe I have to explain this, is 10% of America white?

If you think we aren't voting for Romney because of his skin color or race it is because that may be something that you consider when voting.

If Romney acted this crazy, black, brown, white, green, yellow, woman, it doesn't matter, saying things like that are just so stupid for a presidential candidate.

Republicans (not all obviously) are immediately anti minorities so it appears to you when we just treat them as equals that we are giving them some great boost.
