This should piss off SoCal. I've never bashed Cutler for what happened here in Denver but what he has done since being in Chicago over time tends to support that he is a petulant jerk and will never be the superstar he thinks he is.

Wow. This is how he acts on radio? Can you imagine what he's like in the locker room?
“This is just educated guesses at best. Correct?’’ Cutler said. “That’s the problem. These are guesses. You’re guessing. Admit that you’re guessing." No, Silverman said. “Admit yes, you are guessing. You’re guessing. How can you say that you aren’t guessing?’’ Waddle once tried to explain to Cutler what he wished the offense would do, and Cutler said: “Guess what. Guess what. Guess what. Guess what. I don’t care when you’re happy. Doesn’t matter to me. It’s not important. It’s not going to affect how we’re going to win football games. Your opinion is not going to matter to us.’’ |

It blows me away that some people are just starting to realize this.
You can analyze/bs all the X's and O's about Cutler but it's painfully obvious he cannot lead. He has never won a championship at any level. Not even high school. That was the big knock on him coming out of college. He just doesn't have the ability to rally a team around him. When the team drug his sorry ass to the NFC champ game and needed him most he flaked. When clay matthews owns you...you may want to adjust your protection. This was poor decision by the the coaching staff and a good reason why lovie needs to be replaced. Bears are terrible when playing from behind and their coaching staff does not make ingame adjustments well at all.

He's an elite talent, but agree that he'll probably never be an "elite NFL QB".

That first round draft class really looks abismal about now.
Vince Young: Busted out of numerous teams and is now broke. Matt Leinhart: Busted out of Arizona, has gotten multiple injuries and is purely a backup. Jay Cutler: 29 years old, interception machine and assclown crybaby. |

Brian Dawkins made the point that the worst thing that has come out of this episode is that the locker room is officially fractured. It's not broken but, like a bone when it's fractured, its integrity is compromised and, absent a doctor setting it properly, will get to the point that it does break. And nothing derails a season like a fractured locker room.
Hey, Cutler brings it on himself through his attitude and arrogance. Like I said--fool's gold. Or maybe just 'fool'. |

I thought that, MAYBE, we jumped the gun on getting rid of Cutler. I thought, MAYBE, he would become an efficient leader. I thought, MAYBE, we would regret losing him. I'm still waiting, on that...

So he's not an elite QB because.......he's willing to argue his point on the radio and challenge the media's status as all knowing? There's no doubt he didn't play well but I have no problem with him or anyone being combative with the media.
Yawn. Wake me up when there is something done that is actually important.
