This was a much better ending than is should have been with that crazy first half.

I think we get better from this one... In an way, if we had won from the beginning these guys might have let it go to their heads a bit. That may have been a part of it in the first half .. reading their own press a little too closely.

But the D played really well considering all the uphill adversity they had to overcome including the REFS giving them MAJOR help on several critical plays that easily made the difference in this score.

And the Offense did come back and made a game of it so.. there is a lot to build on!

Meh, a 1 score loss away to one of the top teams in the league in a game with 4 giveaways in the 1st quarter.

If we can be this competitive away against a top team after practically giving them the game in the first 5 minutes, I think we will be all right.

Eh, guys get open, especially on loaded offenses like Atlanta. We had Porter out of his natural position, bound to give up some plays. Atlanta got 10 points directly off INTs, so really the defense only gave up 17 off full drives to a top offense. Nothing panic inducing. Moore has a ways to go, though.

I will be the first to say that they definitely improved on third downs...5 for 13 tonight.

4 of those were on 3rd and long though, so big plays and rush defense are still an issue, but you're right. The entire offense pooped themselves.
