Yeah, it was basically just a reminder that forum rules do exist even on the subforums (even in the Butt... ) and there are limits to what's going to be allowed as far as insults. It looked like a warning might be in order because a couple of his remarks could result in problems for him.

In the 11 year history of the OrangeMane, no one has ever been banned for calling someone else a "loser", "tool" or "liar"... so you're essentially expecting me to establish a brand-new precedent of overmoderation. Sorry but that isn't gonna happen. Defending yourself is acceptable as long as you remain within the rules yourself... however, bans have resulted from wishing death on other posters and from intentionally circumventing the language filters; hence I was doing you a favor to gently remind you of the rules rather than to impose sanctions. And your reaction here is more criticism? Nice.

If you think it was the only post, where he called me "a ****ing idiot", a "tool" and a "liar", you are mistaken. That was the long line of many unwarranted personal attacks, and it is the last straw. The guy has no substance in his posts to back up his claims, hence why they are "personal attacks"...and against Orangemane policy.

He is also guilty of neg rep bombing, not just against me, but against many of the other posters...which is also against Orangemane policy.

You can choose to ignore it if you want, but it doesn't mean it's not against Orangemane policy, because it is. If the personal attacks and neg rep bombs persist, I will defend myself by any means necessary.

Fine. Defend yourself by any means necessary. Just understand that if you break the rules, you can be banned for it... and you cannot claim that you haven't been warned.
