Rule of thumb for player nicknames given by fans:
90% are lame, uncreative and not anywhere near as awesome as the creator think it is. The other 10% are pure genius....

Methwolf falls in the 90%.

Lolcopter, you are right. I didn't want Derek Wolfe to be the pick. I would have preferred several other players because I was wanting a guy to come in and play defensive tackle for us full-time. Looks like Derek is starting at LDE, which is a position we did need to eventually upgrade and getting significant playing time at DT in nickel packages. We really couldn't have asked for more.

He is doing a fantastic job as a first year defensive lineman and it seems like he is going to be a keeper. I was obviously wrong about Derek, but the Alliance stays strong.

Don't beat yourself up too much; his affinity for sweet, sweet meth was unknown to most at the time of the draft.
