I'm pulling for Wilson! It's about time that smaller, quicker QB's with great speed and cannon-like arms began to dominate in the NFL! GM's and Scouts always worry about height for a QB, and wonder if he will be able to "see over lineman" and have a greater "view of the field of play." Well, when you can move like Wilson, have his intelligence, work ethic and arm, I happen to believe QB's that size with those traits will find SUCCESS in the NFL, IF they can remain HEALTHY!! It's been happening slowly over the years, and this "change" will really make a much more exciting game for fans!! I really hope such guys will open up the offenses in the league, as well as change the way defenses play too!! GO RGIII ('cept when you play against our Broncos)!!

The saddest part is, Wilson was still on the board when we picked Brock Osweiler ...

Seriously though, as a senior he completed 73% of his passes for 33 TDs and just 4 Ints, Badgers coaches said 2 of the 4 were receiver error. Pete Carroll said Wilson sees passing lanes develop and reads downfield traffic better than anybody he's seen, for what that's worth.

A lot of folks whiffed on Wilson because of the heighth issue. In any case, let's not crown the guy yet based on an impressive preseason. Nor, for that matter, declare Osweiler a bust. We knew he was a raw project when drafted him, so how about give him a little time (and this is coming from someone who didn't really like the pick)?

It's really not worth much. Wilson will be 27/28 when manningis done. No thanks. Rather have Oz at 24.

Bucs and Broncos should man-up and admit their mistake. Bravely cut their losses and do what's right for each team: swap Brock Osweiler straight up for Lavonte David.

We all know what's happened with DJ Williams, and thus why Lavonte David was right for us, would've made us a better team. At the same time Josh Freeman's inaccuracy and slow adaptation to the new offense is "causing growing concerns" (see below). In Osweiler, the Bucs would've scored the rare 'same-size-as-Josh' QB, one with a more accurate arm.

Get it done, Bucs and Broncos ... don't worry how it looks, just do what you need to do to make things right.

And can you get it done before all the drama starts up this afternoon?

All this in just the past 10 days ... he's getting worse, not better.

Running back Arian Foster expects to play for the Texans on Sunday.

Coach Gary Kubiak isn’t quite so sure. He called Foster a game time decision during his meeting with the media on Friday after Foster missed practice because of knee soreness. Foster was pulled out of practice on Thursday with the same problem, leading to a visit to the MRI machine that Kubiak said turned out fine.

Browns to pay tribute to Art Modell

BEREA, Ohio -- Art Modell will be recognized Sunday by the team he moved to Baltimore.

The Cleveland Browns plan to have an "appropriate recognition" for the late Modell at the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles.

I don't think that's really a good idea.

It's going to be a pretty awkward moment when they hold a moment of silence and the crowd starts booing very loudly.

Common sense would tell them that this is the likely scenario and to leave well enough alone.

Art Modell had nothing to do with the current Browns franchise....he took his team to Baltimore.
