That's just one example. The only thing that will the Donkey OL and Manning out is his quick release. If not, Manning is in a world of hurt.

Very few people are suggesting that we're a lock. We're relatively well positioned, but in no way are we a lock to win the division.

4. Allen would love to show 3-4 fronts this year, but he doesn't yet have the personnel to do it.

5. This is a defense is transition. We know Allen is creative, but there are no easy answers with a cornerback group as shaky as this one. This team finished 29th in both points and yards allowed last year.

We wouldn't expect much improvement from the group this year, which will be tough to take for a defensive-minded coach like Allen

Why not just make it an even 70 and predict ten touchdowns?

They were both injured, both are fine now.

The reason the Broncos defense improved in 2011 wasn't Allen. It was drafting Von Miller and Elvis Dumervil returning from a torn pec. Last time I checked the only legitimate pass rush specialist in oakland left town along with your leading rusher and best corner.

While the Raiders won’t be looking for Phillip Wheeler replace Wimbley’s pass rushing abilities, it is worth noting that while playing linebacker at Georgia Tech he totaled 18.5 sacks in 3 years from the linebacker position. One scouting report had this to say of Phillip Wheeler about his time in college “considered by many as one of the nation’s best-blitzing linebackers”.

He was playing in a backpedal in Indy. He is a downhill player and not as big of a liability in coverage as Wimbley was.

People overrate Routt. He has zero feel for the game and is only good turning and running with a guy. We figure to run a multiple look defense and not the dopey single high safety, no blitz, every snap with man outside.

I think he will struggle in KC much the way Asomougha did in Philly when asked to do anything but get his hands on the receiver and knock him off his route.

18.5 sacks in 3 years? That is what Von Miller calls not impressive (Miller had 17 in his junior year and 10.5 in his senior year).

Routt did commit a ton of penalties but will have the luxury of being a #2 in kc (thank goodness the hunt's are so cheap and let Carr go) but he's still better than Bartell or Spencer.

Spencer and Bartell have experience in defenses that play in multiple schemes rather than the standard four-man line with a single deep safety and man-to-man coverage the Raiders have always run.

Bartell & Spencer have a total of 19 interceptions in 15 combined seasons. Defensive minded Jeff Fisher cut Bartel paid Finnegan 50 million dollars took a chance on drafting Janoris Jenkins. What does that tell you?

Amazing a teams loses their good pieces in the offseason and thier fans still think they just got better. They are the Cubs of the NFL except many don't bother to go to the games when they suck. Safety then becomes a reality when going to Oakland.
