All kinds of great players on that team. Their offense looks much better too.

They're the most talented team in the AFC.
Yeah, I think you're right. Those dudes ain't playin' around.

Maybe. But I'm far from sold on Flacco.

Well he did prove he could lead a team to the SB. Unfortunately that proof went right through Lee Evans' hands.

So he lead the team to the AFC Championship, not the actual SB.

Actually, he should have put his facemask on the ball, causeing a fumble. That's how I was coached up to tackle. If Doom would have done that it would have been a fumble. Regardless, it was a thing of beauty.

Oh, this is TOO easy. Cue Darth Vader telling the Emperor "Yes, my master"...

http://content.usatoday.com/communit...1?csp=obinsite

Brady sounds like a guy who hasn't let his enormous success change the basic approach to the game. Like pleasing the coach. Mindful of performance, he maintains that ultimately he might not hold the decision of when to hang up his cleats.

He insisted -- with a straight face -- that maybe it will be Head Coach Bill Belichick's call.

...Ball gets moved up and to the left (our right) at the last instant before impact.

Brian Waters may be gone for good.

1. Last year, he reported the Sunday before their first game (now it's Tuesday).
2. The number he wore last year (#54) was given to Dont'a Hightower.
3. 4p.m. Eastern Time was the deadline to return to the organization in order to guarantee his $1.3M contract.
4. Basic items (shoulder pads, practice jersey) have been removed from his locker (though the nameplate remains).

Word is he wants to play for the Texans, and the Patriots are refusing to let him out of his contract.

Jones is a damn stud. Have you realized that by now?

I'm not buying the hype. He finally got his first sack of the preseason in the third game against Tampa Bay's 2nd string. Although, he is reportedly trying to learn some pass-rushing moves, so he has that going for him.

He's too weak too get past Clady. He's too slow to get past Clady. His arms are shorter than Clady's (Jones' primary athletic "attribute"), and he doesn't have any pass rush moves. He couldn't even produce at LDE at Syracuse...what makes you think he's going to do it in the NFL?

Yeah, I bet. I'm sure it was really hard for you to call him a LDE when every ****ing start of his career (and every game) was at RDE.

Probably not a typo either. As R is on one side of the keyboard and L is at the other. Methinks you probably just didn't see much of Chandler Jones play at Syracuse.

Wrong. I was thinking of Clady at LT, and typed Jones at LDE...of course he's on the right side of the DL, playing against Clady, which is RDE. Nice try though. It's pretty easy to see that you're trolling.

Jones' 2, 4, and 4.5 sacks at RDE over his career at Syracuse is no fluke. He lacks elite pass-rush ability. Compare that to Dumervil's college sack numbers at RDE.

What do you think? Do you think Jones is stud?

It is pretty easy to see that you are full of **** and have not seen more than a handful of Syracuse games. Jones improved every year at Syracuse. He posted 4.5 sacks in 7 contests. You do realize he missed five games in his junior year, right?

I mean ****. You are the same person who admitted to cooling on your flavor of the week prospects because they were slimming down to play DE instead of DT. Which seemed odd, considering that's exactly what Wolfe did.

I'm calling bull**** on you actually watching Chandler Jones.

What full games did you watch of him last year? Really curious.

Patriot Way, finally exposed.

Not even Brady can make up for that crumbling roster.

Such a ****ing overrated franchise philosophy.

It has sucked everywhere it has gone but NE and ATL...and ATL succeeded because they deviated from the Patriot Way many times.

Pitt, UConn, and West Virginia. What games did you watch? Did you watch the last three games, in which he had zero sacks? Please don't switch your allegiance from Jerel Worthy to Chandler Jones. I was planning on relishing the Crick vs. Worthy battle this year...and for years to come.

I think Derek Wolfe will have more sacks from the UT position than Chandler Jones has at RDE...and not just because he's a Bronco.

USC (he didn't play), West Virginia, Louisville and and Cincinatti. Interestingly enough, you watched games where he had his best sack efforts and even had an interception. He also had a variety of TFL in the games you watched, yet you came to the conclusion he wasn't a good player. Quite weird.

I think Jones will do well with the Patriots and end up becoming a good player in the NFL. He improved every year with the Orangemen and has an extremely high ceiling. Sky is the limit for him. And FWIW, Wolfe is starting at LDE for the Broncos and not UT and I'm pretty sure Chandler Jones is playing OLB for the Patriots.

I know Wolfe is starting at LDE. I said, Wolfe can get more sacks at UT, than Jones at RDE. I don't really like Wolfe at LDE, because it puts him on the field too much, and decreases his effectiveness on 3rd down (when we really need him).

Jones is starting RDE just like Dumervil. The Patriots now play a 4-3. Jones was mildly impressive at Syracuse, but nowhere near the draft pick that Belicheat traded up to pick him...which makes it even sweeter, because the Patriots no longer have two 1st round picks every single year. An average of 3 sacks per year as a Big East RDE is downright craptastic.

There's no doubt in my mind that Chandler Jones can be a somewhat competent NFL player, but I don't think he's the difference maker you and Patriot fans hope he becomes. He can easily get blown off the ball in the run game, and his pass-rush is nothing special. He would probably be much more effective if he put on about 30 lbs. and became a 3-4 DE.
