As far as voter supression it is more economic than racist but since more Blacks % wise are poor it can seem to be both.

If a poor or elderly person does not have a car than the odds are real good they will not have a driver's license. This person will have to find transportation to get one. If they do not have their social security card or their birth certificate than all this could take even more trips and more money.

Thus we just created a poll tax. The fact is if the Republicans make it hard enough many poor people will not vote.

How do the posters here explain Republicans taking away early voting. They find out that mostly blacks and the poor vote on the early voting days and they abolish it just like that. How is this democracy?

There is no one out their commiting voter fraud. If there is it is happening in these electronic voting boths that due not have a paper trail.

In all the endless rallies this country has seen for amnesty, even with all the pictures of the seas of brown faces... Nobody in the media had the testicular fortitude to point out the heavily brown content of those crowds and that it may have a relation with the cause they were promoting.
