Dead money had already been given to the players in that case. He was able to proate some of it depending on when the cut was made..

As for now most guaranteed money is paid up front or is spread over the life of the contract but the majority is up front..

It is very compatible. Not sure why YOU don't get that.

For the second time now, Elway and TD made it work, did they not?
Yes they did 15 years ago when it was not a passing NFL..

Obviously you will not change my mind nor Your comments mine. So let's agree to disagree..

Also saw a weasels comments about past draftees of Mikey.

Yes I thought some of his choices would not make it in the NFL. But in cladys case I wanted a someone on the DL at the time just like I did when cutlet was drafted as for Doom, I doubt anyone really saw him becoming what he did. And for those that claim he would be a super star well I think we all know they are full of crap.

I guessing that most folks on here have been wrong in their ideas at one time or another.. I was wrong with Clady ( although leading the league in holding calls tells me his knee is still not right) and Doom. Glad I was. ..

Weasels are weasels are weasels.
Glad I have most of them on IGGY.

You discredited Elvis Dumervil based on his height without every seeing him play at Louisville and you also stated that Ryan Clady would be a bust because he played at Boise State and didn't face top competition. Your takes on football are as valuable as a bloody tampon.

And PS: Stop professing your people on iggy bull****. Nobody even quoted my discussions on Dumervil and Clady, yet you bring them up. Sounds like you still can't help yourself. Same old turd you were over a decade ago on Broncomania.

What do you mean? Watchi it again. It was not any easy catch. He was tighly covered and he had to stretch and slide for it. It wsa not easy. Clinton Poreis would have dropped it that is for sure.

uh....I have...when was the last time you watched it? It was caught in stride and he ran for like 10 more yards before being dragged down, and he blew by the Linebacker Larry Grant #54....as he should.

The first source said McDaniels wouldn't confirm or deny whether the Broncos initiated the trade talks. The Broncos did, though, tell Cutler that every player on the team could be traded and he could be traded at any time. Still, Denver owner Pat Bowlen also stated in the conversation that Cutler will not be traded. The Broncos publicly said Cutler will not be traded last week as the Cutler trade frenzy was in full force.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3968896

"Josh and Jay will sit down and meet next week when Jay gets back from Nashville. And then Smyth, who said he was speaking on behalf of owner Pat Bowlen and McDaniels, made the following point of emphasis: "The Denver Broncos are not trading, Jay Cutler. Period."

Thank god you cleared that up.

He was pointing out that when the team comes out and says this player will not be traded, well he can still be traded.

MJD should have held out for the entire season. PFT says he may have a Lisfrank injury.
