Palmer’s INT: If you are going to throw the 9 (fade) route up the sideline, you have to hold the safety in the deep middle of the field. With the Cowboys playing a single-high look; FS Gerald Sensabaugh was shaded to the near hash on the open side of the formation. That’s easy ground for a safety to cover when he can break on the throw. Nice play (and range) from Sensabaugh, but that INT is on Palmer

McFadden looked scary good. If he stays healthy then the faiders may be pretty good. Also, their defense is pretty much a complete unknown right now. If they are even middle of the pack and the offense can score with McFadden and Jacoby... yah.

if thier defense is anything close to what we saw yesterday and a healthy McFadden and Ford they could win alot of close games. RunDMC is just downright scary

As long as Palmer is their QB I don't fear them. Too many TOs. With that being said DMAC is probably most explosive back in the league and will rush for 1500 yards plus if he can stay healthy and they can beat anyone. I think they can lose to anyone too. They are a unknown for sure.

That......for lack of a better word....sucks. He needs to pick up his game. He definently improved against the Lions during the "dress rehearsal". But, as much as Manning is to the Broncos success, so does DMC for the Raiders. They just need to pick Palmer's spots and work with what he does best, pocket passing no damn roll outs.

Yes. Not every encouraging but we'll see how it goes.

Manning looked good today though. He looked like **** previous to today but if he plays in the regular season like he did today, you guys will win the division pretty easily. Your O-line looked really good.

Well, since preseason matters so much, here's how the Raiders stand overall.

#3 Defense
#8 Offense
#11 Passing Game
#5 Running Game

So, you wanna just concede the division to us now or should we actually play the games?

As for the draft picks, I think we only lose our #2 in 2013 and then we're done with that stuff. And as a team, we're really young so there's no danger of us getting old. But like most other teams it's the quarterback that's the biggest question. Well, that's the easy part. The hard part is finding one that works.

I'd hoped Palmer would look sharper in this system faster, but I'm not pushing the panic button yet. There have been a lot of drops and of his picks, two hit the receiver in the hands and then bounced out. The other came on a play that they wanted to throw no matter what (a long route to Jacoby Ford). Yesterday was the first one that was really stupid.

I heard a commentary that Palmer's game (the long ball) does not jibe with the new offensive coordinator's system, is this true? That is, Palmer works great in the old offensive system that Al Davis liked so much (big chunks of yardage on pass plays, speedy WRs that can stretch the field, old school stuff) but not so much with the dink and dunk type of offense the new OC is running.
