The Cincinnati Bengals terminated the contract of veteran defensive end Derrick Harvey today. Harvey signed a one-year, $705,000 contract with the Bengals in March that included a $60,000 signing bonus.Harvey is a former Jacksonville Jaguars first-round bust.

Drafted eighth overall out of the University of Florida, Harvey has recorded only 92 tackles, eight sacks and one interception in four NFL seasons.

He spent last year with the Denver Broncos.

If he clears waivers Monday, then he'll become an unrestricted free agent again.

Man bengals are goin down with injuries. First a startting Olineman. Then maulaga. In other news, tebow hasn't done much on 2 punts.

Edit. Now Dunlap down with a knee injury. That's 3 busted knees in 5 minutes to their starters.

They really should make the preseason only last two games. No point in risking injury in meaningless games.

Ya 4 is a little too much. But owners like the money coming in. Good thing we got out the 1st game with minimal damage. Only 3 to go.
