I just don't get it. The guy is a Bronco so why would anyone want to give him such an insulting nickname? I'd get it if he was a Raider or a Chief, but he's not.

I think many of those that like it are working under the assumption that Meth make's one crazy strong so MethWolfe has for them the connotation that Wolfe with be like a beast of a player.

In truth Meth robs your health and makes you very weak.

Methwolfe nickname is a joke - mostly on Req - because he said Derek Wolfe looks like a Meth Dealer (maybe the droopy eyes?). Regardless, it was a lame reason for hating the pick, which is why I made fun of it. For me the nickname is reminder of that "analysis" and the fact that he relishes in his white trash style suggests he probably doesn't care. Especially since, you know, no one is calling him that in his life and he doesn't give two craps what nickname he has on a message board he's never heard of.

If there was a player with alien eyes and we started calling him Xenu, would you be just as upset?

It's a term of affection. If you want to go around neg-repping everyone for using nicknames you don't like, that's your prerogative, but it won't change anything other than making you look like a thin-skinned douche who throws tantrums about things outside your control.
