About five sentences?
When will you push to update the nationwide energy grid? What is your opinion on liquid fluoride nuclear reactors and the upcoming thorium core tech that is on the horizon? Is their any legitimate work on the federal level to construct a long term H2O supply plan should climate change lead to further mid-continental droughts? Tax reform: you should implement a 25% corporate tax rate with 1% reduction for ever 1% of a company's workforce over 75%. Do you feel that the primary problem with education in this country is simply a matter of cost or do you see the lack of direction of HS and post-HS people as a major problem in building the highly competitive, skilled workforce we need to bring jobs back to the U.S.? Other than that I'd shake his hand and tell him to keep up the good work as one of the few guys in Washington who actually puts the nation's best interests before those of his political allies. |

![]() http://dailycaller.com/2012/08/07/em...kers-pensions/ Emails obtained by The Daily Caller show that the U.S. Treasury Department, led by Timothy Geithner, was the driving force behind terminating the pensions of 20,000 salaried retirees at the Delphi auto parts manufacturing company. The move, made in 2009 while the Obama administration implemented its auto bailout plan, appears to have been made solely because those retirees were not members of labor unions. The internal government emails contradict sworn testimony, in federal court and before Congress, given by several Obama administration figures. They also indicate that the administration misled lawmakers and the courts about the sequence of events surrounding the termination of those non-union pensions, and that administration figures violated federal law. |

How 'bout "Good afternoon, Mr President. Welcome to Denver. Hope you have a good time here, sir."
(and I don't think much of him either.) |

Looked for a secondary/legit source, but all I found was breitbart.com, powerlineblog, and the usual right-wing disnfo mills.

No there has been an issue at Delphi. They topped off the pensions of the union members then dumped on all the other ones. True story. Will be in a commercial soon enough.

The fact 20 thousand pensions were gutted is public knowledge. The White house has always claimed they had nothing to do with it. If these emails really show once again Geithner was pulling the strings that means once again he lied to Congress.
What a corrupt and dirty Chicago style administration. |

![]() Just the opposite is true. Breitbart has a history of publishing lies and BS. In fact, their latest piece about Obama's Ohio lawsuit was just exposed as a pack of lies. You must have missed it. |

I don't think I would ever have the balls to talk **** to the President. It would be a wasted opportunity ruined out of being partisan.
Obama bad but its not like I think he is ruining the country. We can survive anything. Even healthcare will work out because we have great doctors and nurses, and that is what is really important. Also even with less money our military will kick ass. He gutted NASA and they still go to Mars proving that less money can still yield results. He's still our President and when push comes to shove I don't want to our country become a place where we shout things at the President or treat him with a lack of respect. If he wins again repubs would be wise to take the high road and try to make the best of it. Try and change the culture so the next repub who gets elected can get some good things done. |

I'd say to Obama, "Wow, so you thought Anne Hathaway as Catwomanwas the best part of The Dark Knight Rises too. Cool."

I might ask him what clubs and balls he plays. Then also how far he hits his driver.

Was actually thinking about asking what he thought of cutler being he's a big chicago sports fan. Had dinner with my friend and he says sports always gets him talking. Might be a good lead in for some conversation.
I don't necessarily agree with Obama's politics but I didn't agree with much of Bush's either. I do have respect for the difficulty and scope of the job. Just what my friends schedule is like is truly mind blowing. |

Sure will rigs. It's my understanding I will be one of around 40 people. He has a certain amount of time allocated to meeting people but the schedule is very rigorous and they try and stay as precise as possible. My pal is a lieutenant colonel at the age of 37. A real American hero and straight up bad ass. He's lead troops all over the world. He came from very humble roots and truly worked his way up from nothing. It's comforting to know that a kid from the neighborhood could rise to such ranks in a world that seems so connected and influenced by tight circles of people.
He's a regular joe wearing really big shoes. He had some kinda special cell phone. Global updates regularly. Couple times he had to step away for obvious security reasons to talk. It felt like having dinner with James bond or something....lol It's certainly a unique situation to meet the president but to be completely honest just to sit with my old friend who travels the globe regularly is truly an amazing and enlightening experience. He can only talk in generalizations but he's not gagged from speaking his own opinions which is cool. Last edited by Meck77; 08-07-2012 at 09:26 PM.. |

I heard his first track. Being from Long Beach this was big news around town. I gotta say he should stick to rapping. It's not even as good as the white boy reggae that came out of Long Beach with Sublime.
