12 punt returns and 5 kickoff returns for a total of 17 TDs and he has only played 6 seasons in the NFL.

That's impressive.
On a side note about Hester I was reading my hardcopy of the Chicago Tribune and apparently his cousin shot someone and is(was?) on the lam.

Felix Jones fails conditioning test

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/ey...ditioning-test

I saw this on NFLN and was really surprised. Felix Jones is Jerry's hand-picked guy. DeMarco Murray is the way to go, but will ego play a part? Will this hurt Jerry's shot at the glory hole?!?!??!?

DT/OT I can see, but for a veteran speed RB who knows exactly what to expect. . . failing a conditioning test is really bad.

RENTON, Wash. -- Braylon Edwards is getting another shot to re-ignite his once promising NFL career after signing with Seattle on Tuesday and adding yet another option for the Seahawks' No. 2 receiver spot.

League sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that Edwards agreed to a one-year deal.

Funny blurb from KSK:

Coach for Life Marvin Lewis signed a two-year contract extension with the Bengals that will keep him there through 2014. Cincy just keeping him around until he gets his career win-loss record to .500. Hey, 69-74-1. Almost there!

Smart move by the Titans.

Matt Hasselbeck had a nice year last year with Tennessee, but they drafted Jake Locker 8th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft and if he looks good, then it's time to get him in there to cut his teeth.

Hasselbeck won't be happy about it, but he will be 37 this year and can step in if Locker falters or gets injured.

I'm surprised this didn't already happen in mini camp:

Eddie Royal with a Groin Injury, will miss 2 weeks.

#2 overall in the 2004 draft, with Larry Fitzgerald and Philip Rivers going #3 and #4.

Ben Roethlisberger went #10 overall in that draft.

There were a lot of good or even above average players in that draft. The Raiders had an epic fail on that one.

Gallery was the safest, no-miss prospect in that draft. Can't really fault the Raiders for taking him, though the result is enjoyable just because it's the Raiders.

That bust actually surprised me. Gallery was a monster LT in college.

Can you imagine this place if EFX had busted on our #2 last year?

Other than his abnormally short arms.

I expected more than 43 career receptions for Devin Thomas.

I wasn't a huge fan of his coming out of Michigan State, but he still had 79 catches, (an MSU school record), for 1,260 yards, and eight touchdowns his junior year.

He declared for the draft after his junior year.
