Default OT - Best DVD Ripping/Burning Software for iPad

So I have 2 iPads and a vacation coming up that involves a long airflight with my 8 and 13 year old. I want to rip and burn my legally owned DVD's to my iPad and am wondering if anyone has any suggestions for software or freeware to purchase if it is any good. I have a PC less than 6 months old and the horsepower is pretty good running Win 7 64 bit.

I've seen ads for DVDCloner 9, Aieesoft (tried a demo version and seemed to work ok), have tried DVDFab trial version but don't care for their yearly subscription service and wonder if anyone on the Mane has suggestions.

I don't do video editing etc, just want an easy solution to decrypt, rip and burn to my iPads.

Thanks!

This is my go-to software for conversion:

http://www.movavi.com/videoconverter/

Xilosoft DVD Ripper is pretty good too...

nero allows dvd's to be converted into mp4 files that the ipad requires. works great.

Hmm movavi says it won't covert encrypted dvd's but it looks like xiisoft might.

Yep, Xilosoft should work.

BTW, when it comes to making backup copies of encrypted DVDs, these are two tried-and-true programs:

http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/

http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cd...dvd_shrink.cfm

You can also use DVD Decrypter to decrypt and then use your favorite program to convert to .MOV or .mp4.
