UT City Councilman Resigns after Shooting Neighbor’s Chihuahua

May 19,2011
A man who had served on the city council of tiny Tabiona, Utah, for about six years resigned May 17 after admitting to police that he shot his neighbor’s teacup Chihuahua for barking, the Salt Lake Tribune reports.

According to the Uintah Basin Standard, Wilbert shot the nine-month-old Chihuahua, Rocky, on May 13 with a .22 caliber rifle, later telling county deputies that he was “sick of listening to the dog barking.”

the guy is a needs to be charged i be fine if they got charged both for killing a dog and letting a dog run wild. it be the best but the fact of the matter police didn't want to handle it. and when he say he only hit him once and the picture there more than one wound all over his body is enough.

this not the first time nor will it be the last time this happens its lazy investigation.
BTW your latest link says the dog is alive and will survive. So there is that.

Thank you i go by what i truley believe is the right answer and accodring to ortiz there was no blood edvince at the owner property and pointed that out in the invegastion from the start the police were bias.
They didn' even want to look into the problem from teh start i would had no issue if the invesgation did its job properly which the sheriff office is just supporting animal abuse in this case. the war is not over till you have tried all angles and this is not the first time the minister has done this. nor is there any edvince to support the dog was aggressive. n fact the dog was struck more on the behind which means he flea the first time he hit him in the noise if that the case picture don't lie.
