Sure mocking someone or some situation using ironic wit takes intelligence, and can be rather funny, but its not really a sign of a kind, gentle, enlightened soul.

Where did you find this jewel of wisdom? Sarcasm is frequently used as a means to communicate ambivalence which is the running theme in this thread, for good reason.
