Well if what this guy says is true on what happend, then I'm not sure why that guy hasn't been arrested yet. Those pics of the dog that he has on the FB page is pretty hard to look at. I hope for the best for that Ortiz guy.

Baja, can you just take a chill pill for a sec? Did I say it was still ok? Did I laugh or make fun of him? No, I was just informing you that it was not the OPs dog which you thought it was.

But at the same time, we have only heard one side of the story and you are all ready to put guilt to the guy who killed the dog. You of all people should know better than to do this, being that you have b****ed and complained to other people doing exactly that around here.

The jokes are out of line on this any way you slice it. You really need to have that pointed out to you?

I'd like to hear the other side. Many people think their dogs can do no wrong when in fact they can be way out of line. If the guy hacked up some happy go lucky dog he is messed up! But I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt till I hear otherwise. People that are that cruel are not common, but they do exist.

Not knowing the other side justifies the jokes? Just wondering.

In what neighborhood can a dude openly hack up a dog in a neighbor's yard and not be arrested for it? What kind of a person has his dog chopped up by a neighbor and responds by posting about it on a message board and making a Facebook page for justice? If there were witnesses or any proof you have to think there would be action being taken. It doesn't make sense.

That's sad that you think hacking an animal to death with a machete is no worse than shooting it.

PS: this wasn't a stray dog.

Do you really need it pointed out to you AGAIN, that my post had nothing to do with the jokes in this thread and everything to do about correcting you that the OP was not the guy that had this done to him?

Yes the jokes are uncalled for, but I don't really give a rip if they joke about it or not.

Man you are getting more senile by the day.

Once again here you are quoting someone who said nothing about the jokes in the thread and your response to him is thinking he's trying to justify the jokes.

Baja, try to be more sober when posting.

I don't know the story... but if a dog was menacing a neighborhood and I had a machete in my hand, the dog is dead.

Probably not what happened, but still.

Well we just don't know. The guy said his dog got off the leash to go hump another dog. Then the neighbor runs over and sliced the dog a a few times, then the dog crawled back home. So he supposedly show this happen, but didn't run to get his dog when it ran off, nor after the guy was trying to kill it. He just stood there and waited for his dog to crawl back to him.

It just doesn't sound real at all. But the pics on the FB page are just terrible.

It's a dog.

It's not subby's dog.

Subby's first post on a football forum is about another guy's dog.

The Internet is serious business.

If you have a dog, it is your responsibility to make sure it is either on a leash of fenced in somehow so it can not cause injury or damage to others. It is rather simple. While I don't like the idea of someone using a machete, if the dog was properly contained, then nothing happens. But there are serious bozos out there that have should not own dogs, much less kids since they have no clue and think society needs to do it for them.
