One comment to Socal, I don't know which 4 high quality starters you could attract with 18 million to a team who is going to draft a QB later in the 1st round to be a starter. You are not getting guys like Brandon Carr, Manningham, Winston, Meachum.

You could get some decent defensive linemen, but most of the premier positions we were not going to get those really juicy free agents to sign for 4.5 million per year.

I think we'd have a real hard time attracting quality free agents with Tebow as the starter. He's a great guy, but there are so many questions surrounding his long term prospects.

that is interesting, what would we have done if we had not gotten Manning?

Honestly I do think we would've let him go either way. Wooing Manning pretty much made it clear Tim was not wanted by EFX.

I had planned on doing one this week, but unfortunately I had an issue at home that took precedent, and now I'm getting set to fly out to San Jose next week for work. I expect that what we may want to do a full "new player roundup show" during training camp to cover the ground we'd have covered.
