Go back to what I said about my Knock on manning I was on manning for his Presnap bullShiat , not his playoff losses , or interceptions ....... As for me quoting Slap , I agree that was the case in why McNabb didnt play well ........ See you and Yavoon want everything to fit in a stat , Football doesnt work that way , you can make a Prefect read , make the perfect throw , your reciver runs the perfect route , but lets the ball pop off his shoulder into the CB hands and it is a pick it is late in the 4 th quarter costing you the game ...... Who fault is it ?
The QB gets the stat of an interception ........ Does that mean the QB sucks ?

u want everything to fit in a flimsy opinion and singular anecdote. thats far more laughable than actually attempting to analyze anything.

and as for "unfortunate circumstances" generally in statistics it is assumed that luck plays itself to zero over a long enuff period of time. while this is not always a precise assumption it is generally a good assumption and when used one can arrive at useful information that can be applied successfully in the field.

instead of the other way, whining about luck and then not arriving at anything more useful than a haphazard opinion of what u like/dont like about someone.

The fact he knows his offense better than anyone else and knows his opponents defense better than most of the guys playing in it. That allows him to exploit their holes quickly when opportunities present and allows him to get the ball where it needs to be quickly so they aren't taking sacks and fumbling the ball away ala Culpepper (6), McNair(6), Brooks (11), Brady (5) while Manning lost 1.

Everyone likes to talk about his lack of mobility yet it is the guys with the mobility and lack of ability to make quick decisions that are getting dropped and turnover the ball.

Here is where we part company , I think the Presnap read does more harm then good .......While what manning does works in a 2 minute Drill , I think it realy takes its toll on the olinemen , and the presnap posturing manning does isnt anymore effective then hot reads , for example , look how denver did Vs the Pats with Kanell .....
Now that the obvious is out of the way .......
I realy like Mannings mechanics , and his footwork is well within his frame , physicaly I cant find much wrong with the QB Manning , What I do find fault in is the way manning manages a game ........

your idiocy has proven my point as i also posted a similiar response in this thread. but lets go even further by saying that Manning, Green, and Bulger have something in common, good offensive lines. and for the exception of green the other two have great wideouts with lots of speed. ever hear the term ' speed kills '? as far as Peytons toughness, we shall see as he hardly gets touched. not his fault of course but that proves his offensive line is doing their job. aside from this year withstanding, just like the broncos line can plug in any back and get a thousand yd runner the same can be said for the colts, queefs,and Rams O-lines. plug in any Qb and that guy will have a great year. its just common sense at this point.
