The Sirius guys loved the pick. Said he was the best DT at the senior bowl. Said his long arms and pass rush ability are great. Said he can play all over the line. Lots of actual production in college. FWIW.

Nope, definitely an UT. Need position for sure. Just wish we would have been a bit more patient. We know the Broncos didn't love him as they stated such.

Nobody knows if he would have lasted even one more pick.

The cries that he would have been there in the 4th...5th...w/e....You simply don't know. Unless your mock drafts are batting 1000 right now.

If he puts on 10 lbs he is a 4-3 DT.

And I'm sure you've concluded this from hours of film study, not something you picked off a draft website? Both Fox and Del Rio have a good track record with DTs, so if they like him, that works for me. I've been on the Wolfe bandwaggon for awhile anyway.

Oh I know how they will try to use him. Doesn't change that even a UT needs to be stout against double teams and capable of clogging lanes when teams run. Unless you are proposing he will primarily only play on passing downs.

Mike Mayock:

"This is one of the most solid players in this draft. He won't overwhelm you with measurables, but when you put his tape on there's rarely a mistake. He can play the 3-technique, which he will in Denver. His stock had been rising steadily since the Senior Bowl. The Broncos have nothing at defensive tackle, so this is a good pick."

Why are Still and Worthy still available if they are so great? I'll take Wolfe over them.

I don't think he would have lasted into the 4th or 5th... But 57?

Here's hoping they are right. I still think it was a massive reach.

I'm happy with the pick. Now take either a CB, Alshon Jeffery or Lamar Miller.

The guy I want is Lavonte David. Immediatly upgrades our LB's. We can then ship DJW the heck out of town!
I would be ok with taking David...
