I'm ok with Wolfe simply because Fox has to have some say. If he likes Wolfe and thinks he's the right guy for the Broncos defense ok. Let's see if he's right.

Let's be fair now, he was moving up the boards and was on Mayock and Nawrocki's board at 59 and 66 respectively.

Well Von Miller was apparently a 3-4 guy too, we saw how that worked out.

I seriously want someone who hates this pick to explain what's not to like about Wolfe, other than where some website had him rated? He's 6'5" 300, plenty big. At the combine he ran a 4.94 40 and 7.26 3 cone drill, both among the best for DTs, so he's plenty athletic. He was the most productive DT in the draft, and improved every year (4 sacks as a sophmore, 5 as a junior, 9.5 as a senior). He has a non-stop motor. Someone tell what isn't to love about this guy?

silatolus clips on espn are awesome, just hammering people out there. I think he bear-slapped a guy to the ground in one play.

Never have heard of him, but I am not a football scout.. let us hope he turns out to be a steal and we talk about how we were surprised when he drafted by the Broncos. |

It is a combination of a lot of things. Bottom line, he isn't even a Top 8 consensus DT in this class. Dude screams average. Like I said, he won't be here in 3 years.

Well here's hoping all the red flags surrounding the guy when it comes to interior run defense just go away, and that he can translate his dominance in rushing in the Big East to the NFL. If he can make the transition in terms of pass rushing alone, we could have one of the best pass rushes in the league. I still hate the pick though.

Michael Lombardi liked Wolfe over Worthy and Reyes for what it's worth, Kiper liked him too and Mayock stated he'd move up his board in the last month. I had him late 2nd/early 3rd.

There were a few mock drafts that us taking him at #25. Kiper had him going to NE in the 1st round. There are varying opinions of the DT's in this draft...but, many had him as a late 1st early 2nd round guy. So, I don't think it's a reach.
The guy I want is Lavonte David. Immediatly upgrades our LB's. We can then ship DJW the heck out of town! |

How many guys have we drafted on physical potential these past ten years? It's always been the guys with production that worked out. Dumervil is the perfect example of that. Fell because of physical attributes but he just kept on producing like he did in college.
