As far as the AFC goes, since the merger, I'd say only New England, Miami, Oakland/LA and Pittsburgh have had more success if both AFC titles and SB victories are your main measuring sticks.

SB record
--------------------

Steelers 6-2 (8)
Raiders 3-2 (5)
Patriots 3-4 (7)
Dolphins 2-3 (5)
Broncos 2-4 (6)

Now, does having the third most AFC championships make the Broncos a legendary team? Dunno about that, but I'd say it shows they have been one of the top 5 teams in the AFC. Throwing in the Bills AFC championships into the mix, then you have 6 teams with 36 of the 46 Super Bowl appearances.

As far as winning the big game, yes Denver didn't get it done before '97, but they still had an incredible amount of success in the conference.

Who cares about what KC did in Jack Steadman and Carl Peterson's years. Our GM has done a good job of putting a team together and looks to give us a chance for the future.

A good GM makes all the difference. You should know that since yours threw all of your talent all of town from Shanny's years.

yes and in 2007 you all backed into the playoffs and were blown out by the Colts who then won the Superbowl. 23-8 in the first round. bummer. What is your point exactly?

You know looking at the stats, I remembered Lawrence Tynes was your kicker, blew a lot of kicks for you. Seems he's done well enough now that he's on the Giants.

Its hard to deny their talent. But their QB situation is going to pull them down yet again.

Does a "Good GM" give Matt Cassel 64 million dollars?

I think Denver has drafted in the top 5 just twice in the last 30 years. KC 3 times in the last 4 years

Well Denver drafted a stud All Pro LBer with a top 5 pick.KC drafted one that went to the Pro Bowl and the other two are not difference makers.

Tyson Jackson really at #3. Those are the type of picks that get a GM fired

I just played Angry Birds Space for the first time and noticed the first level is called the Pig Bang(obviously after the Big Bang). I feel they didn't think that name through. For some reason, this made me think of KC fan, which is why I posted it here.

! Who cares? How about the fans and their season ticket holders? You have nothing to show for your team since a little bump in 1993 and then pretty much since the merger. It is a big deal and why when you talk loser franchises, Chiefs are in that group. You can't take those two knuckle heads away...ever! Once you start winning divisions and playoffs then you can start wiping the slate clean and looking at the present. Right now, you don't have much. Some of the worst things you can say to a guy is "You're a Bastard", "I screwed your wife" and "You're a Chiefs fan".

Yep...good times.

Chefs blow.
DO you really think we would have beat the steelers at full strength?

We would have had our head handed to us..

and would have been drafting someone decent at about 16..

IMO not worth teh win instead we lose out on the second through 4th rounders also drafting 10 spots behind where we should be..

But no lets brag about that cheap win and piss and moan about the chefs who most likely will beat us again at least once this year..

woulda... coulda... shoulda...

revisit the JAX playoff game from 1996. as far as i know, NOBODY except us remembers that JAX didn't deserve to even be on the same field as that Broncos squad.

in 10 years, NOBODY except Squeelers fans will remember the details of their OT loss to the 2011 Broncos. people will only remember that the Broncos beat them on the first play of OT on a long pass play from Tebow to DT.

Peyton Manning sure likes the Broncos. He'll be the second HoF QB to lead this team into the playoffs in the last 15 years. Unlike the chefs who have not won a playoff game since 1993.

Actually we had landed on the moon twice but since then they made it through the rest of Apollo (13-17), Sky Lab, Apollo-Soyuz, the drought between Apollo and the Shuttle, Voyager I (Insert Denver SB here) and II, The ENTIRE SHUTTLE PROGRAM (insert 5 Denver SB's), Mars rovers, and other assorted robotic missions without a return to the SB.

So it's ok to look at our history and discount yours, smart. You are a god damn idiot.
