They will probably try and take or negotiate a certain percentage of his salary that will be taken out to start and pay this money that he owes. As long as he is making some money and playing in the NFL, he will probably always get a certain percentage of it deducted for this lawsuit. They will most likely never see all $11.65 million of it. |

![]() Yep....I root for Kubes to do well and hope he wins a Super Bowl with the Texans at some point to reward them for showing some patience while he was trying to put together a defense to match his offense.
The fat man, Wade Phillips, is an average head coach, but is one of the best defensive coordinators in the business and is a perfect fit in Houston. Phillips is a native Texan (as is Kubes). There were/are a lot of chess pieces for Phillips to play with there. I'm sure he will be satisfied and has come to the realization that he is best suited as a defensive coordinator and this is a great place for him to be. I think being the head coach of the Cowboys burnt him out and took a toll on him. This gig is a lot less stress and he doesn't have to answer to a prick like Jerry Jones. ![]() Thanks....I try and keep this thread up do date as much as possible, as I started it almost 4 years ago.
I don't think moving it into the Ring of Fame section would be a good idea though, as it would get lost and not read and commented on nearly as much as it is here on the general forum. |

![]() If he makes money playing football, and they have a judgement, the garnishing of his wages could happen as soon as this yr. What makes you think he can avoid paying? He can appeal, but those don't take yrs and yrs in civil court. Now if a guy hides money, says he has none, doesn't have any etc etc then its tough. But a guy getting a fat game check every week they can find that easy.

![]() “I think (Winslow) feels like he’s been given a breath of fresh air (in Seattle),” the observer said. “He lives in San Diego, and he seems to like it here. Another factor with him is that he just happened to have three monster games against the Seahawks (including a 7-98 receiving day with two TDs in his most recent game vs. Seattle in Week 16 of the 2010 season). When you consider all he cost was a seventh-round pick (that could be upgraded to a sixth-rounder), all you can say is, ‘wow!’ "

Vince Young at risk by not picking up offense quickly enough Even while saying he’s satisfied with how quarterback Vince Young has looked so far, Bills coach Chan Gailey admitted Young is having trouble picking up his offense. |

![]() VY is either:
A: Not all that smart B: Doesn't work/study hard C: All of the above He's in his 7th year in the league, with his 3rd team. He's been around the block. He should be able to pick up the terminology and the offense, it's not like he's a rookie in this league. |

![]() Makes you wonder what would have happened if the Titans would have drafted local Vanderbilt product Jay Cutler with the 3rd overall pick instead of VY?

I really wish they would stop doing 2 games in one night. It is too late to watch live. I hate watching current games on DVR. |

![]() Berman and Dilfer? I don't get it. I really haven't heard Dilfer too much but what I do remember about him is he's kind of an ass.

![]() I like this move....I'm always finishing up watching the early games and then have to switch over for the Denver kickoff and miss what happened at the very end of the early games.
This will help people watch the end of the early games in their entirety. |
