What does this about Manning's †chances to win a SB? Not good good at all. This was a huge mistake I'm sorry I just don't see Manning in all his greatness carrying this team at his age to a Super Bowl win.
MHM had some great almost meltdown posts. Whether or not you thought Manning can win SB or not you know we can't with TT.

You must be making a bundle selling your tickets this year. Have you already attended the couple of games your friend and son wanted to see? Or are you planning on maybe the KC game?

I didn't look back through this thread. Did anyone actually take up Dedhed on that one-year OM ban?

Acting like Manning comes into that scenario and just tacks onto what was already accomplished is silly. Manning undoes what Tebow accomplished and takes us back to a bottom 10 running game. There's pretty much no debating that.

So 8-8 becomes effectively meaningless. 4-12 and 1-4 more resembles the floor for Manning to build from.
Boy Beavis you have sooooo much egg on your face from this thread. I hope you didn't sell your season tickets (like you said you were going to do) too early because Manning would of made you a bunch of money.

What was hilarious was the transformation of how first the OP was stupid to post this thread, to well Manning wouldn't sign here cuz our roster was void of talent, to he'll be a shell of his former self, to Elway is an idiot and Manning can't win in the playoffs......and on and on.

anything to dismiss the pursuit and signing

And I don't see Manning being the answer to overcoming the Patriots, at least not for the Broncos, so I don't like our chances of taking it any further.

A couple of failed posters here. No one should be surprised.

One thing is certain, Manning MUST deliver at least 1 playoff win in the first year of his contract. I like anyone else on this board should be all over him like white on rice if he doesnít. The expectation MUST be set here at the very least. If heís as great as everyone still seems to think he is this isnít setting the bar low at all. We gave up a lot to get him he better produced some results THIS year.

Itíll be interesting to see what happens if he doesnít. The same group who said we had to have him will be the same rats jumping ship if he doesnít you can bet on it.

If i am in his place, i will either chose SF(he will have better chance winning SB in couple of years) or TEN(for money, wife's preference).
And no_broncos pissed off that the Broncos landed an MVP QB!

Tebow has earned his shot. If he doesn't get it F the Bronco organization. I don't want to be a fan of a classless organization. There is already too many classless persons playing the sport.

Nope, own my own business so I don't have to handle workers like you!
In serious matter, you must admit it was an epic and irrational thinking. I mean to give up on your team of 41 years based on this move and then be proven wrong. Good thing you changed your mind because this season will blow last season away.

Keep in mind disappointment had been building since the last three years of Shanny with the late season collapses and the mostly bad drafts and insane free agent signings. The whole McD thing, handing over total control plus spygate. The unknown of bringing in a very inexperienced Elway. I think deep frustration was warranted or do you prefer blind homerism ala KC fan.

I suffered through all that like you and while Tebow made things exciting and put a stop at the pure suckiness or medicrisy we portrayed the last few seasons, having Manning as our QB was exactly what our team needed. This defense has been a huge improvement and I think a year ahead of schedule.
