I'm not skeptical about this at all. If his health checks out and he can throw, give him whatever he wants and make him a Bronco. Denver has the cap room, and Peyton should be able to attract us a few decent free agents that want to load up for a superbowl run.

Very much like Arizona did with Kurt Warner, but Peyton Manning is an upgrade over what Warner was, he's one of the greatest to ever play the game.

It wouldn't make sense to me if the Broncos are not really the first option and Manning is wasting their time flying there to watch him throw some footballs around if his mind was made up to sign with the Titans. The respectful thing to do, if he really respects Elway, is to tell him the truth in that case and to move on, not make a 2 hour flight for something that isn't going to happen. That is hardly respectful.

Only thing I'm sure about is this. The Titans may or may not be in the mix at this point. But Denver definitely is.

Nope...late evening maybe...7-8 PM. Not before. At least 3 hours travel each way, 2+ hours in RDU minimum and they aint going for a min stay unless Manning ends it quickly by telling them to leave.

This could be the very same deal, and we're flying out to bring him home. The report that it's a workout came from where? I doubt Denver would tip their hand, and Peyton has said NOTHING.

Here's hoping this is just the final drive to bring him back and get his name on a contract.

That's what I'm thinking. That this deal is almost done. He's ours. Now just the final physical to be sure before he signs. If he passes the physical today.....he'll get on the plane with them for the trip home.

Using your calculations, how do you get 7-8?

Leave at 8:30.

+3 hours for flight = 11:30

+2 hour meeting = 1:30

+3 hour flight back = 4:30

Your time leaves an editional three hours for meeting with Manning, for five total, if they don't come back until 7:30. 7:30 isn't too late either. Take them to dinner after the defensive staff works them out.

You think Del Rio has contract offers ready to be signed? Or he can bump or raise them? We don't want the guys we want ( McClain ) to LEAVE Denver without signing. At times like this, I think it's important to use some basic logic. It makes no ****ing sense for Denver to send their entire front office across country to watch Peyton Manning throw if he's going to turn around and say **** you very much I'm signing with the Titans.

Elway and Xanders wouldn't do that. Manning wouldn't do that to the franchise.
