Do they make paper bags that fit around a horse's mouth? Because Elway's probably needing one right about now.

Pat Bowlen = CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP!
We will not sign Manning and we will not sign Mario Williams! Who exactly have we signed so far ![]() We will wait until all the studs have been added to other teams, then swoop in and sign a bunch of other teams 3rd stringers. The message will be, we're building through the draft. That's always been our plan! CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP = Bowlen |

7:42 pm Clifton Brown thinks the Broncos still hold the advantage, for what that's worth.

Plus, in this tweet, Bienvenu says the Broncos had a team doctor present for their meeting with Peyton as well

People keep saying this is like every year. Well its not. They don't have this much cap space every year. Bowlen still does not have to pay up to the cap until 2013. He can keep the payroll well below the cheap line. I don't see any moves happening in FA.

I had a dream. It involved dancing vibrators and a giant orange banana wearing sunglasses. It spoke to me, and sounded like James Earl Jones.
So clearly that means Manning will be a Bronco. ![]() |

If he goes to TN, we'll see how quickly Matt Flynn's phone rings. Also, be prepared to lose out on a few more FAs that may have had an eye on Denver if PM were to sign. This could suck a little.

Peyton has such an appreciation of the game, I think he'd be impressed with head coach who's in the Hall of Fame. Not 2 mention OL coach, 2. 11m John McClain John McClain @McClain_on_NFL No matter what happens with Peyton and the Titans, he'll always be loved in Tennessee. It's a can't lose proposition for him. 12m John McClain John McClain @McClain_on_NFL If Peyton goes to Denver and it doesn't work out, Broncos fans will howl cause they got rid of Tebow. Peyton's will always be a hero in Tenn 14m John McClain John McClain @McClain_on_NFL I've covered Bud Adams for more than 30 years. Once his mind is made up, it's made up. They'll hand Peyton a blank check. 14m John McClain John McClain @McClain_on_NFL I may be wrong, but I expect Bud Adams to get his man. I think Peyton will become a Titan and run the franchise when his career ends. |

It will be intersting to see if EFX does pursue Flynn if they lose out to Manning. There's no question they will sign someone, because Tebow is the only QB signed to the 53 man roster for next season. The only question is who they will sign. Will it be someone like Shaun Hill, who's a career backup, or do they make a run for Flynn, who has long-term starter potential.

Actually, it's two starts (he also played a great game against New England in 2010). But, yes, I see your point...which is why I said long-term starter POTENTIAL. I didn't claim he was a sure thing. I'm just curious if EFX will truly be content to go with Tebow in '12 if they lose out on Manning, or if they will make an aggressive push for the only other guy available who MAY be a long-term solution.

Honestly I don't think Peyton is thinking super long term here, in regards to him finished up playing and wanting a crack at the FO in TEN. I think the dude just wants to play ball and try his best to win a few more rings before he's done. And when he is done, I imagine he'll take a few years off from everything football. So anybody trying to play the "oh but he can be in the TEN FO when he's done", I wouldn't buy that for a nickel.
