yeah that's a joke contract, I'd pay him that with or without Manning.

You guys are so clueless. We aren't spending money because we are waiting on Manning. If he doesn't come it drastically changes how or if we even spend as much.
Elway's not going to break the bank to bring in people to help Tim because we will never be able to win a SB with him. Our D is much improved but with todays rules there aren't D's that can win SB's anymore. I'm telling you right now. If Manning goes elsewhere Elway will make a bunch of under the radar signings and we will have lots of cap space and flexibility left for the future to pair with Wilson/Barkley/Jones as our number 1 pick next year. |

Well Mr. Bowlen sounds desperate for a last hurrah, so I think he will be willing to match or even improve that offer. Hope not...but when people go senile....well... that's a tough crowd to talk logic into.

With Wayne off the market and no WR depth, I wonder if we bite on the first for Mike Wallace if Manning signs?

If Manning doesn't sign, it's hard to see how we'll come anywhere near the cap. We'll just stand pat with our gaping holes on both sides of the ball. |

As I have stated I believe Tim Tebow quarterbacking this team with this year's schedule will get us 4 or 5 wins. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if we sigh Hasselbeck and he beats Tebow out if Tenn gets Manning. |

Finally we agree. I just don't see John loading this team up via free agents when he doesn't know what he has with Tebow. |

10:27 PM Brandon Krysztal: Piggybacking of @MikeKlis yesterday, that #Broncos working on Manning contract, if it comes to pass could be like 4yrs $90mil
10:20 PM Peyton Manning is scheduled to meet with Titans coach Mike Munchak tomorrow; Bill Polian says the race is a "dead heat" between Tennessee and Denver. Word is the Titans would trade or cut Matt Hasselbeck should they land Manning. Here's the full quote from Polian: Well, I see it as a dead heat at this point . The Titans do have the home-field advantage as both he and his wife have a great affection for the state of Tennessee, they have a home in Chattanooga, so it's possible that that could be the deciding factor. But I think for sure (he'll join an) AFC (team) and (it's) very definitely a tough decision for him. http://www.itsalloverfatman.com/ |

I would at least like to see John make a run at Dallas Clark regardless. He would really compliment DT and Decker and help Tebow or Manning
