name one player signed today that you would want the Broncos to pay the contract they got

Do people think that Manning is now going to sign with the Colts because Wayne signed there?
Uh, because selling your soul for PM to win jewelry is going to require more than whatever scraps we can claim off other teams' practice squads.

Peyton has one ring. And it was with two elite receivers in their prime, and a monster pass catching TE.

We have none of this, and don't appear to be trying to find it.

Move on do we really think manning alone is the missing link to a superbowl? Not even close lets put a team around the qb we have and see what he can do. If it doesnt work out go for a qb next year

because whe had the money to spend on weapons to attract Manning or bundle his teammates as a packaged deal. Al worthy WRs have been picked.
Wayne would have been a good addition to favor our WRs against those of other teams. Fitz>Britt>DT by a landslide. If you can't see that then you are a homer that can't see that ARI and TEN have better WRs cores than us.

We all know they do. Teams that don't cheat the cap have issues with it. The Steelers couldn't tag Wallace because of the cap issues.

As far as your article--go to yahoo. There is an article today about curing alcoholism through use of LSD. My point, don't believe everything you read.

Either way Manning is a headcase, seems to be a classic over thinker. In the back of his mind, even if his neck is stronger as some would suggest, his head has to believe that and when he can't tell what is coming from his blindside I hope he is not fearing getting crunched. He has to believe in that neck like it is perfect. That would be difficult. Too risky for me.

Houston Passed
49ers passed with Alex Smith

Just a handful of teams looking at him seriously. Not great for one of the best all time. If he was a healthy 36 year old we would have no chance. In fact he would still be a Colt.
This is the way I see it too. This place is famous for falling in love with the big name.

I would rather spend the cap space on talent for Tebow.

Can't think of one but not all numbers for all deals have been released.

Anyone know what VJ got in Tampa?

I've been here. Geeze.

Until someone can tell me how Manning turns Denver into a viable title contender, I will not be ok with peanut head in Denver.

WOW! Bargain is an understatement if only $25M is guaranteed.

Well the fact that Manning isn't on a team complicates this a bit.

Yeah, who needs receivers though when you're in a 4-way race for ....Manning....... (followed with my best zoolander face)

In a stunning move Manning will run the option.

Apparently Fox liked what he saw out of Timmy lined up wide. And where else is he going to find a WR for 1.2 mil?

If manning was at all concerned with winning superbowls he would sign and give his next team a chance to bring in some talent. Lets move on try to build on what we did last year

Frankly waiting for Manning is the dumbest thing Denver can do. The team has needs that are far more "OMFG that needs to be fixed" worthy than QB. So we watch Williams go to Buffalo for a visit, Tolbert and Hillis to KC for a visit, Nicks to TB for a visit, Eric Winston to Mia for a visit...and here we sit twiddling our thumbs apparently a single player away from a 3rd Lombardi.

The last two years was just an illusion, apparently.

A league source tells PFT that Wayne’s deal is worth $17.5 million over three years, with $7.5 million guaranteed.
That's pretty cheap for someone like Wayne.... Seriously we couldn't offer 6.5-7 mill per year Him signing with the Colts shows you what he thought about his chances in getting a better deal from another team.
