That seems about right. Considering the Cap will go up quite a bit in 2013, that's not a bad deal.

That's about half of our open cap space ($50m). $23m this year, and we carried over $27m from last year.

First, to worry about that you have to have an owner that has the pockets to bankroll the actual cap number. Short of that, the creative accounting doesn't really matter.

This is what I was thinking. A few posts back elsid quoted me and said Houston wasn't interested because of the cap. It seems to me you can always make room but maybe that is what I learned from Shanahan, the master cap manipulator.

I didn't see us trying to sign Reggie, and if another team did...Peyton might have been swayed. The colts aren't going to sway him.

Gerard Warren is a big FA landing for this club. Is Bowlen really spending much more beyond Pay a ton? This is going to f us hard.

it's bad news because our cap space gave us a bigger possibility for package deals than any other team. and now the competition has L-Fitz and Kenny Britt, and we counter with...? I mean DT is all over the map, who knows if Peyton is interested in "potential" at 36 years old?
