I get it, but Elway had 0 ACLs and a completely torn bicep by the time he was done. You play 15 years in the league and you're going to be ****ed up no exceptions.

Houston was never in the mix, that was E$PiN. They didn't have the cap room, have a very good QB already and weren't going to change their WCO offense to Manning preferred system. Meanwhile Baltimore is also up against the cap and have committed to Flacco and weren't going change QB at this point.

Keep in mind that Manning is not against putting in a clause to protect the team if he is injured.

For that money I would rather fix our lines, strengthen our running backs, and secondary. Spending that much on him will definately limit what we can do on defense, and we all should know after that New England game that we have some major liabilities there, along with the O-line.
