How much of this Cap space do I have to credit Mcdaniels with? I really hate doing that.

Sure looks/feels that way, although clearly some people are in denial about this. Hope the Tom Condon thing isn't much of a hurdle.

I'm actually not concerned about Manning's neck fusion. Many stories out there confirm that the structure is a non-issue. It's the nerves and the strength in the arm as a result of those nerves being disrupted. If he can demonstrate that he has recovered or is close to 80% or better, then there is reason to believe that he will continue to get stronger. But again, the fusion isn't a concern... even if he were blindsided. The fusion is actually stronger than the rest of the bones in his neck.

So how many years do you think Tebow needs to be as good as alex smith?

So how bad do you think Elway and Co. believe Tebow is if they're doing the opposite of the Colts?

Ah, remember this?

Quote:
Elway has described the kind of quarterback he likes as “the big athlete who can throw the ball from the pocket,” which doesn’t exactly fit Tebow to a T and serves as a reminder that Tebow is the quarterback Elway inherited, not the quarterback Elway chose.

I took a lot of flak for this in this thread!

Give the Broncos the 49er defense, a TE like Davis, and RB like Gore, and I like our chances.

I agree, why draft a career back-up when we might already have the CBUQBOTF on the team already?

Tebow doesnt play for the Nuggets, the Gator fans who would actually do that wont be there

a poll on Broncomania had 69% of those who voted yes to going after Manning, I think the majority of Bronco fans would welcome him with open arms

I don't know why considering the glowing reports that infest the forums around here about Tebow.

Well he did win 8 games all by himself...surely you've heard that, right? And he's a better option than a first ballot HoF QB right?

I mean those that hate Tebow seem to think that teams around the NFL then will offer all kinds of picks to get him even though, let's see what they say: he can't throw the ball past 5 yards, he has a weak arm, he likes God too much, he makes his receivers drop his passes, he makes his OL not able to block well in pass protection. Yeah, glowing reports about Tebow, 1st round picks to come

If someone thinks a player is worth a first round pick, wouldn't that contradict their alleged hatred? And if he's worthless to any other team team, why is is he so priceless to us? I doubt we'd get a 1st for him...he'd probably net a 3rd at best, and that's only if the Jags want him. Everyone else already has their wildcat QB on the roster.

Who knows. Maybe this was all planned by Elway in hopes of getting Tebow out of Denver. He literally throws Tebow under the bus hoping to get a reaction from Tebow never intending to sign Manning. He figures this is so ugly he will have to get rid of Tebow and draft some hack in the second round he believes gives Denver their best shot.
