The real question is what will the Tebow aftermath be like if Manning signs with Miami?

It's not like EFX can be like "Just kidding about that flying Melon head out here thing Timmy. You're the future! Here's the keys to the franchise."

I'm beginning to think that Manning signing or no Manning signing that Tebow is getting moved before the draft.

Because it is offensive to have interest in one of the best QBs to ever play the game? You are just being a drama queen. If Manning isn't signed, Tebow will start next season.

It isn't like they tried to trade him for Cassel or something...

Here's what happens because I've been a Bronco fan long enough to know how the Football Gods dick us in the arse.

Scenario 1. We sign Manning to a huge contract, he trips over Griese's dog and is a parapalegic making $20M/yr against our cap.

Scenario 2. Peyton signs with the Chiefs and plays 5 more years and gets them to the playoffs.

See how that works?

I'm not saying he's a suck ass. I'm saying he's 36 and has just had 4 neck surgeries and the only tape on him since his operations is from some dude's ass cam posted online. It's a lot of cabbage to toss down on a big risk.

In this case I don't think money is an issue for any of the interested parties, and that includes Manning. He's going to get top QB $'s one way or the other, and the team he picks is going to pay him.

Yep. We're down the rabbit hole here. I believe Tim is good kid, and unlike a lot of athletes I think he's genuine believes in what he stands for and says, but the kids is a competitor and by definition as a competitor has to have a certain amount of ego connected to his abilities. Even Tim Tebow is not gonna be like "Gosh that was a mighty big knife you twisted in my side fellas, but can't wait to lead the team next year!"

It just occurred to me that Saturday was on the Combine show with that **** eating look on his face when they asked him about where he expected to go, where Manning expected to go, etc. Like he had some little secret he was enjoying.

Who cares? We're not talking hall of famer here. If Tim hasn't figured out that he's in a multi-billion dollar industry where winning ten instead of eight games (in a normal year) means millions of dollars, he needs to find a new occupation. Jake choked, and he got the boot. Tim was told what he needed to do to keep the job, but he was also told he'd have competition.
