Can I ask why it matters? I would think it would be on the high side.

Weeden is already 4-5 years older than Tebow, so if Weeden isn't ready to start now in the NFL, then drafting him in say the 2nd round makes zero sense.

Just a swag but I'd say 80% that he is signed by 4:00 pm EST on Tuedays
I think this weekend will be a ton of late night negociations with teams and Condon

Who said draft him in the second?

Well, and $50million - this was about $...not so much about his neck.

That is where many mock drafts I have seen have projected him to go.

Mock drafts? Well I guess it's a done deal then. I'm suggesting we draft him in the second by any means.

I said it was a done deal? I just stated that is where most draft sites have him going, but maybe I should listen to you instead you have watched more tape and studied the players more than them.

Just a quick though and I am not sure if it has been said before because I don't feel like going through 55 pages of troll posts.

Aren't Manning and Todd Helton best friends? Wasn't Helton working out with Manning earlier this year? Could the Denver talks have been going on for quite some time now? Thoughts?

Let me get this straight. You don't think he should go in the second round because of his age but the people that scouted him and watched tape on him think he should go in the second round. Who has watched more film and studied more players you or them? I mean if I can't give an opinion on where he should be drafted then why the hell can you?

Helton already said he would try and get Manning here if it came down to that.

We're done here.
Unless you're giving Manning a cap hit of $38m this season he wont be eating 25% of the Broncos cap space considering we have nearly $150m payroll this year should we need the use in its entirety.

I said you can't give an opinion? You are free to offer as many stupid ones as you want. My point was if Weeden is deemed a 2nd rounder, the Broncos would be wasting a pick, especially when they have other areas of importance and a career backup QB isn't that high on the list.

I said he was a career back up. So did you.
I said he wasn't worth a second round pick. So did you.
I said Denver would be wasting a pick on him. So did you.

You said my opinion was stupid but it was the same as yours. Man you burned me.

Weeden won't be a backup if the Broncos don't sign Manning. He'd be a starter at some point next season.

Ya know, if you visit the websites for the newspapers in the cities where PM might go, they sound pretty much the same as Denver's.

But if he checks medically by our team and we don't break the bank for him then...we must load up and push for a superbowl the next 2 seasons or this won't be worth it. I hate you Peyton for kicking the living crap of our team during the last decade...but respect you for being a class act and probably the best pocket passer I have ever seen.

I just hoped we stayed with the rebuilding plan so we didn't have to go back to it in 3 years. Tebow is cheap as hell. I think if we sign Manning we are set at QB unless Tebow asks for a trade.

The thing I love about this is that Bobo must be about to hammer his nuts....
