Based on what? Weeden ever took snaps from the center and never in the shotgun? I thought that was so important, or is that only if your name is Tebow?

Smith didn't in college as well and he is an average to above average starter. Why can't Weeden be above average back up? Smith needed work. Tebow needed work. Weeden needs work too. Only difference I think Weeden is coming into a back up role.

So you see the same time table for Tebow and Weeden then? If that is the case I'm so excited to wait for Tebow to develop in another 5 or so years. Personally I think it's easier to become a OK backup vs becoming a OK starter.

Weeden is already 4-5 years older than Tebow, so if Weeden isn't ready to start now in the NFL, then drafting him in say the 2nd round makes zero sense.

I said it was a done deal? I just stated that is where most draft sites have him going, but maybe I should listen to you instead you have watched more tape and studied the players more than them.

Let me get this straight. You don't think he should go in the second round because of his age but the people that scouted him and watched tape on him think he should go in the second round. Who has watched more film and studied more players you or them? I mean if I can't give an opinion on where he should be drafted then why the hell can you?

Helton already said he would try and get Manning here if it came down to that.

Unless you're giving Manning a cap hit of $38m this season he wont be eating 25% of the Broncos cap space considering we have nearly $150m payroll this year should we need the use in its entirety.
