Only if he'd escaped the first guy. I think if he'd tried to move that fast, they'd have to get two carts to bring him and his head back to the locker room for reattachment.

Well I corrected myself by saying he would have called a audible at the line.

Plus I doubt Peyton will be doing any read option anytime soon he has nothing to worry about.....

Yeah, gotcha. So the atrocious blocking was really all Tebow's fault.

And that was simple play action, not a run option. Not that it even matters in that scenario. Peyton would've been roadkill.

whelp, that settles it: if peyton manning were to ever take a sack in a broncos uniform, we'd be better off without him.

Supposedly this is Tebow's response to Manning possibly coming to Denver:

"Obviously he is a great competitor one of the greatest this game has ever seen so if Mr elway and coach fox decide to bring him on our team i think it would be a great blessing to have him not only on the football field but in the locker room, it'd be a blessing to be under the tutelage of a hall of famer such as Peyton"

not sure where its from exactly got it from a diff. site said it was from an interview on TV I guess?

If its real its no shock hes a great kid he knows wassup, he knows this is a once and lifetime thing.

It was a missed block it happens and you think Shaun Ellis is going to try and kill Manning like he did Tebow nah he knows Manning would take the sack. You ever seen Manning play in the NFL? He knows when to take a sack and when to get of the ball also when to audible hes done it Indy for years. He has had a horrible OL outside Jeff Saturday they have been makeshift the last few years.

If there's one thing to ever be said about Tim Tebow, it's that he most definitely knows wassup.

I disagree. Miami has a nice running game, possible of Wayne coming home to join him, best LT in the league, a good defense, a high draft pick to pick up a frachise RT, great weather, no Tebowmania, and having a home already there doesn't hurt.

Lol, I can't believe you guys are watching that video and thinking Peyton avoids getting his clock cleaned. Defender is in the backfield immediately.

Not that it's a big deal to get sacked, but I don't see why you're squirming out of it. The O-line is very inconsistent.

Yes, Peyton never gets hit, that must be why he's never been injured before. Umm...ooopps.

The first time they see a perfect manning strike downfield, and Broncos fans will forget Tebow....tebows fans won't, but broncos fans will.....

You're missing the point; if he gets sacked his head will fall off.

We can't afford to pay a headless QB $50M.

ESPN's Adam Schefter on Manning to #Broncos possibility: "More realistic than some people know." Cites run game, promising defense, AFC West Division.

also from Schefter "Peyton Manning prefers to stay in the AFC but is open to playing in the NFC."

as stated in many articles, Peyton's salary would likely be incentive based if he comes here. That makes it less likely that he ends up here, but if he does, it'll be incentive based. So an injury wouldn't hurt as much as you imply.

Well, Dedhed is more connected than Schefter so I'll stick with his takes...

Give me a break. O-Line play is the most important part of whether a QB gets sacked or not. And for every time you can say Tebow held the ball too long, we can find another example of Tebow maneuvering himself out of ****ty protection.

For his career Manning is sacked on average just once a game. I think that is because he doesn't run around and do 360 spins when the pocket breaks down though.

I heard Schef talk on ESPN last night. He didn't even list the Broncos in his top 6 or 7 teams. Talked about them as an afterthought when prompted to.

They're going to talk about every conceivable scenarios. That's what they get paid for.

For his career, Manning maybe had, on average, the best pass protecting O-line in the game.
