I'm fine with the thought that it might be a bad idea. But your point that it's an "anyone but Tebow" thing I disagree with. For some it might be that but you should just ignore those people anyway. This probably won't happen anyway, but it's fun to think and talk about.

Witnesses at his workout at Duke have said he looks like the same Peyton....now they could be lying, but I doubt it. His doctors gave him clearance to play...one even going as far as saying if peyton was his own son he'd tell him to play

I'm sure Tebow would appreciate an inkling of support from his management.

Rather roll the dice with a real QB than stick with the gimmicky flash in the pan.
That's what I saying. Wayne, Garcon, Saturday could all be in play. Even try to trade Tebow for a pick or two and draft defense. Isn't that team a contender?

He's a fuggin football player not a ballerina, If his feelings are hurt because they aren't kissing his ass then he needs to man up and quit being a puss

Folks. This is brilliant spin by our front office to drive up the salary cap space that the chiefs are going to take up when they sign Manning and then realize he's one qb pressure and fetal position drop to the ground away from retirement. Tebow will be our QB IN 2012. And that's the bottom line cause TxTebow says so!

Does a fluky season deserve even an inkling of support? Save the group hugs for when he can antipate receiver's routes as instead to throwing to bodies like a pop warner kid.

Oh, you mean like let's rebuild the long-in-the-tooth 2010 Colts that barely made the playoffs and lost right away in the Wild Card round to the Jets. Except a couple years older.

Yeah, let's piss away the future for a year or two of that.

People say we're more than one player away. True but Peyton by himself is worth 6 and he brings his friends with him. Indy has a healthy Peyton they wun their division and probably reach the AFC Championship game. Yeah it's a gamble but I say let's go for it. Sick of the decade plus era of mediocrity.

If we start Tebow for a full season the only future I see is 2-14 and drafting Matt Barkley. Which might not be a bad idea. You can't run Tebow style football today's NFL not sure if you could even play Tebow ball in the 50s.

8-8 and one playoff win? Wait until next year when Dfenses figure out our gimmicky offense which already started happening towards the end of the year.

I laugh at the people thinking Manning is in the bag. You guys know lick about contenders/pretenders. The only way he comes here is if we outbid the rest teams...by a lot. Say what you want about MIA...they maybe one of the most dysfunctional FO in the league...but there team is a QB and a WR away from contending.

Through all the talk...it now looks like WAS is not a strong option as previously thought. SEA and ARI look like another strong option. Depending on the amount of money we throw at him I would say we would be his 4 or 5th option.
