Of course it does. My point was that Tebow being the quarterback has little to do with my opinion on the matter. I realize that's not the case for some, and there are those here who would be against anybody not named Tebow under center, but I think it's silly to dismiss anybody being reluctant as simply being defensive of Tebow.

"There’s a buzz in league circles much stronger than that."
This would be so awesome to land Peyton Manning. It would put us into position to continue to rebuild much needed areas and yet put us in position to contend. |

Are we able to make a run now, or do we need to wait until FA starts?

Can't believe we have people here who actually believe this is possible.

Funny enough, Manning in his first playoff game got destroyed by the Jets, 41-0. Colts fans weren't stupid enough to want to ship him out of town.
Tebow won his first playoff game and gets zero credit. Sad stuff. |

Seeing as that won't happen I'm off the train. Bringing in a 36 year old with SERIOUS health issues and dumping your possible future is one of the dumbest things I could think off. What happens when Manning goes down week 1... |

The Broncos will sell Manning on their top-ranked run game and stable O-line. Trust me, Broncos are SERIOUS players in this. |

Lastly, if the Broncos do indeed win the Manning sweepstakes, Tim Tebow will be traded. I'm told there's no way they will co-exist. |

if this happens, it'll be Elway's doing and it will show that Elway really isn't qualified to be an executive VP in the NFL. no way do you back up the brinks truck for Manning at this stage of his career and with his current injury problems AND disrupt the locker room. this team is REBUILDING. signing Manning means that you don't think we need to rebuild and can cobble together a SB contender from free agency. we've been down this road. it doesn't work.

Selling him the run game?
It was a damn gimmick after the first 5 games. |

Tebow would be traded before Manning ever signed the contract. |

The other big advantage the Broncos have going for them - John Fox. Manning likes his style. Manning wants to run his own offense. Vic Lombardi @VicLombardi Manning was very impressed with Fox's ability to adapt to the Tebow offense. Manning is also his own offensive coordinator. |

Like many have pointed out, even the strongest Tebowmaniacs can't complain with Tebow playing backup to Peyton Manning, one of the greatest of all time. It seems like a great opportunity for Tebow to learn from Manning and then take over again in two years time. Why would he have to be traded? |

Can we just make it the total Colts offensive package? Sign Manning, Saturday, Garcon, Wayne. Trade Tebow for a pick and draft all defense? I know it's really improbable, probably ridiculous, but does that team compete for a title? I say it does this past year.
