Looking at overall job approval won't tell us much. Basically it comes down to what? like 12 states? The battleground ones. Colorado actually one of them, here in my state, CA, it won't matter. Also pretty safe to say Texas goes repub right? So factoring in approval rating from those states is silly.
What we need is the approval ratings and polls broken down by the battleground states. I haven't really read up enough on it though to know what ones really in play. Obama has made some progress though. His plan to point fingers at Congress seems to be working to some extent. Whether that kills some dems trying to get elected in the process we don't know yet. I agree though people seem less disgusted by him then they did even 6 months ago. But also its rare for a sitting President to have to campaign this early. He knows he is in for a tough re-election. But the repubs are infighting, getting tugged by the ultra right religious wing. How that plays out will determine if Romney is too damaged to fight Obama. |

All depends on how the economy is doing in November, and if the individual mandate is declared unconstitutional or not.
Since Obama is running another $1.3T budget deficit, and giving major cash payments to anyone who is in "distress", looks may just end up buying another term with money he doesn't have. Everything he does in "fairness" steals from one group of people to buy votes from another. Dude is seriously a despicable human. |

Exactly.
Considering their prediction that Obama was going to be the second coming of Jimmy Carter, you'd think the repukes would be able to field a viable challenger. I guess the verdict is in: The far-right's selective amnesia re: the Bush years hasn't caught on with the rest of the electorate. ![]() |

Are you in desperate need? If not, then you should contact the government that you are willing for them to take extra money from you so it can go to those in desperate need. Or just others need to do that, not you?

No doubt Boehner's crying because this moron tells people we're coming out of the recession in public and tells others just the opposite in private:

There you go blaming GWB for Clintons f'ups again.
Last time I checked Obama signed off on Obamacare, and the enormously unfunded budgets that have created an additional $5.5T debt over 4 years, leading to the first U.S. credit downgrade in history. |
