morality and pro sports rarely mix together. with the way star athletes are marketed nowadays it's like being a movie star.

some go on missions,some curl up with a nice book,others go out and party.

Agree with this. I think it's the image established (and seriously primarily because of the glasses gimmick) being broken that has most upset.

I do also agree he should be exercising more discretion just because it's the intelligent thing to do, though.

Von should live it up. Nothing wrong with having a great time. But hopefully he doesn't go too far with it. Chances are he will, just like most athletes. Baby momma drama hits a lot of these guys. And most of these guys end up broke when they are finished playing. Most of them don't know what their limit should be.

Everybody flashes some type of sign in a photo. Doesn't mean it is a gang symbol.

As a photographer I've shot a boat load of events, and I hate it when people flash some sign in the picture, even if it's the peace sign. And for people who flip the bird in the photo, I don't take the picture.
