I have also praised Eric Decker several times here...even saying that he has earned the right to start.

Tebow is not showing that he is an NFL ready QB. But many fans are so infatuated with the guy, they will submit to YEARS of being a crappy, barely scraping by team, just to keep him on the roster. And woe to any fan that dares question him. No, blame the coaches, the receivers, the game plan, everything except the QB. Guess I'm a hater for being a realist.

I am generally in that same boat. Something about the Teebs fans though makes it all worth it if he just goes away. I dont really want him gone but I sure and sh*t want them gone (and not just the clowns here). I just want him playing TE with some very interesting trick plays throughout the game. The leadership and intangibles are definitely worth something not to mention the mismatches he presents in the open field. But something tells me Timmy, the ultimate team guy, wouldnt go for it. Its QB or bust for him, not "wherever coach thinks I can best help the team win."

So....the defense didn't like Orton but likes Tebow and therefore we win? Sounds legit.

Note to self: apply for NFL QB. No ability to throw? No problem. Solution: bring cupcakes to the defense's practice.

At absolute best, Tim Tebow can hope to be as competent a QB as Jake Plummer - another running QB with accuracy issues that the players "liked" for awhile. But then again Tebow can't throw so it's a bit unfair to compare him to Plummer.

I don't hate Tebow but, I think he has a million miles to go to be good IF he ever can be. I also feel our system isn't right for him either so I'd love to end the experiment as soon as we can move on. Regardless of my opinions what FO actually does is another story and will be most telling. I don't buy anything anybody is saying until a legit move is made.

tim tebow has averaged 2 turnovers a game for the past 5 weeks....

he hasn't hit on more than 50 percent of his passes in over half of his career starts

I think he's a great guy and I think he's a team leader and he's the kind of guy that you really really want to see have success.... unfortunately for him my love for the broncos supersedes my love of any player.

I use to wish I could play quarterback in the nfl now I just wish Tim could..

Imagine that. Love for the overall team can still coexist with the notion that deciding you dont think a particular player should be part of the future. Its called long term thinking. Too many of the pre-Teebs Bronco fans are all in the instant gratification mode for a guy who can, at-best, scratch and claw his was to division title for a few years or sniff the WC. But not enough for a return to prominence.

As I said earlier, Fox has more games as a Bronco than Tebow, and he's fresh off coaching the Carolina Panthers to the worst record (and offense) in the league.

The part you left out is that he made the Broncos go from one of the worst rushing teams to the best literally over night.

And those stats you always point to are a product of the system Fox runs and the fact NO one would be protected by the Broncos line.. this is why Fox said Tebow would be screwed in a normal offense.. because ANY QB would on the Broncos.. and Orton had Lloyd and all the prep...

Tebow could do something with this team even with all it's flaws.. and even at Fox's best when he led the Panthers to the Superbowl Delhomme put up terrible numbers then too...
