I first learned it was completely legal a few years ago when I think it was Larry Johnson who tackled Troy Polamalu by his hair after a turnover. It was pretty awesome.

That looks like it really hurts.

If I were an offensive skill position player, there is no way I'd have hair like that.

You're begging to be taken down Lawrence Phillips style.

I think it's funny that Pacman Jones is the one who did it.

Dude has been arrested so many times he was probably looking for the po po to come on the field and arrest him for assault and battery.

Somebody probably had to explain to him that it was a legal play and he was in no danger of having his probation revoked.

I'd really like it if Denver drafted Michigan DT Mike Martin in the upcoming draft.

I'd take him Round 4 and look around like I stole something.

He's only around 6'2 and right around 300 pounds and his measurables aren't going to blow anyone away, but put on the tape and watch him play....especially this year after Greg Mattison worked with him.

I've heard some project him as a 4th/5th round prospect....but I could easily see his stock rising in the next few months, as he has been a disruptive force this year.

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- Fred Jackson will miss the rest of the year with a broken bone in his lower right leg, an injury that could derail Buffalo's once-promising season.

That was a nifty pick by Charles Woodson....his 6th INT on the year.

14th season at corner and he is as good as he ever was.

Hall of Fame stud....won a National Championship and a Heisman at Michigan. Won a Super Bowl, a NFL Defensive MVP, 53 career INTs, 12 defensive return TDs (11 on INTs - Rod Woodson has the all-time record with 12), 28 forced fumbles, and 15.5 career sacks.

Fred Davis, Trent Williams leave without speaking to media

Redskins tight end Fred Davis and tackle Trent Williams played their final games of the 2011 season in Sunday’s 34-19 loss to the Jets.

Both players are facing four-game suspensions for violating the league’s drug policy, a suspension both knew was coming but wasn’t implemented until after the game because they weren’t given official notification before kickoff. It was a hot topic in the locker room after the game, although neither player shared their thoughts with the media.

Ryan O’Halloran of CSNWashington.com reports that Davis and Williams showered and dressed in the coaches room before being escorted out of the building by security. So we will have to wait to find out about their previous violations of the policy, as players are only suspended after multiple incidents, and what exactly possessed them to keep using banned drugs after they were given a free pass for testing positive during the 30-day grace period granted to players after the settlement of the lockout.

That sucks for TE Fred Davis....he grew up and played his high school ball in Toledo before going to USC.

He was having a great year with 59 receptions for 796 yards and 3 TDs.

MJD has close to 100 yards rushing on the night (97 rushing and 91 receiving) and passed LeSean McCoy for most rushing yards on the season.

MJD has 1,137 right now and LeSean McCoy has 1,134 yards.

The NFL has announced the four-game suspensions for Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis and left tackle Trent Williams for violating the league's substance abuse policy.

Seattle Seahawks rookie guard John Moffitt has also been suspended for four games without pay for violating the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances.

The suspensions had been expected. A person familiar with the decision told The Associated Press on Sunday that Davis and Williams were expecting to be penalized after failing multiple drug tests. The person spoke anonymously because of the confidential nature of the league's drug testing policy.

Moffitt will serve his suspension beginning immediately, even though he is currently on injured reserve and out for the season with a right knee injury.

The specifics of why Moffitt was suspended were not released.

Moffitt was Seattle's third-round pick in last April's draft out of Wisconsin and started the first nine games at right guard before suffering a pair of torn knee ligaments in Seattle's Week 10 win over Baltimore. He's one of three starting offensive linemen currently on injured reserve for the Seahawks, along with right tackle James Carpenter and left tackle Russell Okung.
